Is it unsafe to run nitrous with a underdrive pulley?

I would like to know this also. I remember seeing a post a while ago when I was searching about 12secz (?) having issues with the nitrous/crank pulley combo, but then I thought that it was actually a spark plug issue?

 

I had one and sold it because I was going with nitrous. I believe that it somewhat affected the timing causing some detonation, at least the problem was attributed to the pulley.

I chose to sell mine and use the money to increase air flow when using the nitrous....plus I just wanted to be safe.
