Search the threads, you'll see several people running 175-shot with no timing adjustments. I am running a 150-shot with no timing adjustments. Just get colder plugs and make sure you dyno tune it. If you want to there are several devices out there that can retard your timing such as the J&S Safeguard.

Default 200 shot

I'm taking out from 4 to 10 from 5000 to 7000 rpms with the emanage. I've dynoed the above and see no loss compared to stock map.

How are you taking out timing, the J&S Safeguard, e-Manage, or some other method? I heard using the J&S sometimes causes the CEL to come on. Comments. If I bump up to 200-shot, I will definitely need to consider something like this.

I'm using the e-Manage to retard timing and also add fuel. I was afraid of my fuel situation so I added 440 injectors, fuel pump, and the e-Manage to control the A/F. I bought the complete kit , including the two harnessess, from Ultimate-racing.com.

Did you go colder plugs with your solution? What is the cost of this solution? TIA

Yes to the colder plug question! Call Darryl @ Ultimate Racing (416 292-6446) and mention Mike in Chattanooga (that's me). You could also email the pricing question to sales@ultimate-racing.com. Please believe me when I say I can't remember what I paid. When you've spent what I have this last year and a half, you don't want to remember.
