man, i've lived in many many places, apartments, rental property, and they NEVER took money out my deposit for cleaning/painting.. only for damage.

Yeah, I've never had much taken out at my other places. The house was definitely not in bad shape, that's for sure...

UH wasn't that bad IMO. We had a TON of crap everywhere and still managed to get money back
