i think they have more cops/military people in the city than they do residents. Sitting in gretna throughout the day you would see a cop about every 5 minutes pass through.

with threats to go to angola, i dont think u will see anyone out there. i got a buddy of mine with the JPSO, and they are gonna be patrolling all night, and after the rain breaks

Definitely have guns, and plenty of ammo. We stayed for Katrina, and my house has never flooded. I also pray alot too.

They have already arrested like 4 people, and sent them straight to Angola.

Nagin announced that anybody caught looting would be sent directly to Angola and kept in the general prison population. There would be no holding cells in the N.O. Parish prison, etc.

I think that's a state wide deal. Sheriff Newell Norman, made announcements that people had been arrested, and sent to Angola as well.
