Jared, try those Hankooks again-- they're good tires with good life & are fairly cheap.

If you want more life, General Exclaim UHPs are great. They're like an all season in the rain, pretty good grip, great life for a borderline summer tire, & are really cheap.

How many miles do those front tires have on them?(if you remember)

And did you catch the LSU game?

just bought 4 new T1-Rs i like em. mine lasted a little over a year. would have lasted longer if i wasnt runnin soo much camber up front and in the rear. not to mention those tires are so stiff they almost act like run flats. i actually had a slow leak in one of my tires when i evacuated for gustav all the way to pensacola and the tire just held 15psi.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Jonathan- How do you think we will do against North Carolina? It's going to be really tough, but if they play to their best we could win IMO

I think LSU has a decent chance against UNC. LSU is longer than UNC & both teams like to run, which I think plays into LSU's hands.

I expect UNC to win, but I think it'll be a closer game than most are predicting.

I'm betting the score is within five until about five minutes left.

I hope I'm wrong & LSU wins.

from ESPN Insider:

Hey!

Carolina bracketeers -- and that includes you, Mr. President!

Here's a warning from today's action -- beware the crafty shooting guard.

As LSU's Marcus Thornton shredded a solid Butler team for 30 points in the Tigers' 75-71 victory to advance to the second round against the Tar Heels, it was hard not to flash back to Feb. 21.

That's when Maryland's Greivis Vasquez led an 88-85 OT victory over UNC with 35 points, 11 boards and 10 assists, a performance that probably put the Terps in the tourney. North Carolina simply had no answer for General Greivis, who led Maryland in points, assists and rebounds this season.

They'll be facing more of the same in Thornton, who did absolutely everything, and well, against Butler, with six rebounds, four assists and four steals in addition to his scoring. But let's focus on the scoring line.

He scored both inside and out, with 12 points in the paint (but no dunks!), and nine on three-pointers. He did it from the line. And he did it all game long, with 13 in the first half, and 17 in the second, often stopping Butler's momentum when the Bulldogs went on a run.

Nervous yet, Blue Heaven?

Thornton's role in the offense is quite similar to Vasquez -- the offense runs through them, LSU using its star on 29% of the team's possessions, while the Terps use Vasquez on 27.8%.

But in categories that mean a lot in tight tournament games -- turnovers and free throws -- Thornton outdoes Vasquez. Thornton's 11.5% turnover rate ranked second best in the SEC this year. And Thornton draws 5.6 fouls per 40 minutes; the General only gets 4.2 every 40 minutes.

Enjoy Radford, Heels. Then hit the video to figure out ways to prevent Thornton from doing you Greivis harm.

I run BF Goodrich KDW 2's. Although a little pricey, great wet, and dry traction, with an estimated 28k mile tread life.

I really like my invos so far. . .i only have them in the front at the moment, they don't follow the deep ruts in the road and pull your car left or right when you don't want it to. . .also very quiet. . .i can't wait to put them on the rear. . .
