this is true thizzle. I bought a '93 240sx just to drive to work everyday. I put it as the primary and the Z as secondary(or what they call "pleasure"). My insurance rate dropped $30 per month. I bought my 240 for $500 and plan on beating that thing to shiet.

I never heard of that "gold warranty" thing either. You may want to double check that.

I highly doubt it covers turbos, etc. Probably just Nismo parts I'd guess.

By law, they can't void it unless its the source of the problem.

I'm wondering....If there was such a warranty, it would probably cover the motor if it was turbo but not actually cover the turbo and accessories. I surely have never heard of it though.

Actually, due to what they say, it is not warranted by Nissan.

yeah I was trying to find the time slip of my first pass with the lsd. balled tires but still was a 12.2@113. I should put my name on the list i guess. I think I had an 11.9 out of her with slicks, but its cool.

It says that Each S-tune part is covered by the Nissan parts and accessories limited warranty. But, Nissan does not void your warranty on the actual stock rendition of your car. This is what I was told by Nissan here in Houma. I think I even read it somewhere.

Even still... a dealership cannot void the warranty on your car unless they can prove the aftermarket part was the cause of the problem.

I can't say that I'm not worried about my warranty. This is my first new car. Not to mention, the Z can be really expensive to repair. I will mod my baby but I think I will stay conservative with it for a while. Never know what can happen. Although, Bruce pretty much gave me the 100% guaranty that if I stay with bolt on items I will be ok as long as I keep going to the Nissan dealer here in Houma. His really good friend Floyd is the head tech. there. He said as long as I don't spray nitrous on it, I'll be ok. Anything esle can be hidden. Bruce just told me if I ever need anything, just go straight to Floyd and tell him what going on.
