Sure you can whip it around by slinging the wheel, but nt by throttling. Do you have a base model? Ifso, I speak from exp. An LSD was one of the best mods i have done.

Just search lsd or go to the drivetrain section of the forum and look through there. If you are really mechanically inclined, you would be able to install one. Drift wheels and tires aren't anything special wheels and tires. If you want to learn to drift, get some 17 with a good offset and tires to fit. For example, the stock 17s on the older model. I would say get 17s because it may be a little cheaper on tires or it will probably be easier to find used tires for a 17" rim.

without lsd, if you try to do a donut, only your inside wheel will spin.

You would really have to do a search and make that decision for yourself. some of the lsd are clutch and some are geared. some of the makers are: nismo, quaife, carbon?( ask lee), there are others but I forgot the names.

I have the ATS Carbontetics lsd, and it is butter smooth, but locks hard. No chatter whatsoever. Nismo and Cusco are good I hear also. The Nismo is probably the best bang for your buck. Comes with the stub axles, oil, seals and everything you would need for install. It is also one of the better priced ones. Good choice for a base model. Who cares if it sounds like a cement truck when coming around corners

I would wait to ask these questions until you decide what your goals are for your car, and what route/mods ou going to do. if you need any advice or help with anything, just ask us.

yes you can use your stockers. I wouldn't because what will you do after you burn of all of your tire?

My advice would be if you don't know what you are doing, really don't try it on the streets while its raining.

If you like the drifting thing, an lsd is in your near future. get with Bradley and he could point you in the right direction for a drift setup. Although, he pretty much does everything.

6.0L lq4 motor built by thunder. Still on stock heads. Runs 11.6's @ 125 with no traction. Don't let the numbers fool you.
