Id have to say that Im kinda on Will's side on this one. I love driving my car and putting miles on it. Keeping it locked up in the garage all weekend just disturbs me

Ex) If I go out to some place that has crap parking... would I want to drive an M3 there, HELL NO.
i daily drive my car. its cheaper to jus pay the little repair of a scratch or something small that happens when someone cratches ur car or hits it with their door then buy another car for a beater and pay another insurance note.

Aside from that, not everything fits in the Z. If I had an Accord or something... at least I could put an ironing board in the damn thing with it chillin' right next to my head.

my car bores me in the speed department... but i still get out of it sometimes and while i'm walking up to my front door i turn around and stare at it for a good 5 seconds and think to myself.. "god i love my car". poor car is getting the backburner now. It's funny when the turbo Z is your slow vehicle and your daily driver.

The M3 is an amazing car but I personally think that getting an M3 as a DD is a big mistake. You don't DD your 30k+ car as it is, why DD a 45k+ car? I know you're not paying new price I'm just saying, I'd rather spend a little money for an econo car (I want to buy a Yaris hatch as a DD) so I don't put anymore miles on my Z. I love my Z and I always find that I take the longer way home but there are times where I just don't want to take the Z because I know it's not going to be safe or I don't want to put the extra mileage from a trip (like out of state trips, unless it's a meet).
All in all I understand your reasoning for wanting to get rid of the car for a more practicle one but I can't say the M3 would be the best choice. I'd say look at something else like possibly an EVO or STI?
Btw, the black one made me hard too :-)

Sure the Z can be driven more than 1-2 a month... As if I don't drive, I don't find it a good thing that I bought my car with 28k miles and it now has 90k.
I'd much rather have a beater and a Z to drive whenever I feel like having a little fun.
PS ghost, it may be faster for now...

m3 is a nice medium for still having a sports car, toting the kids around but still enjoying what you drive. If you could make the situation favor you Will I think it would be a good choice for you.

My Z is an 05 with 23k miles. I think the mileage is good on it, and now that the motor is about to be pulled, and I bought the bike, it won't be going up for a while. I plan on keeping the Z though now and making it a fast daily driver.

i am all about putting some miles on my car and enjoying it. If I am gonna pay for it, I am gonna get my money’s worth..

EVO and STI's are nice.. but not for me.. i'm lookin at 330i's, M3's, IS250/350's.. stuff along that line.. something "sporty" with a good bit of creature features.. it needs to be quiet.. i wanna hear my farts when they roll out.. cause at this age i can't really tell anymore when they slip.. so an audible warning is always nice..
yeah Greg, i know.. thats a terrible excuse.. but it works for me
