I know where you're coming from, it's just cheaper to do that now and get decent gains than to buy a twin and install it and put wear on it daily and then build the engine and end up having to replace/rebuild the turbos before I up the boost. You're probably right though....I'll look into it.

like all the threads that ppl have on here regarding ST/SC,they always make the switch to twins...dont waste ur money just save it bro...and do it right the first time...and u wont regret spending 3-4 g's on the st/sc...but if u have no plans on upgrading(which i highly doubt) then go for the st...

The motor will be stock, and I'm not looking for high HP or high boost. In this particular situation on stock internals would you go with a SC or ST setup?

I'm not worried about which kit to go with (brand wise) and yes I will build my block later on, but it'll be for a different application. So like I said, all I want to know is out of the two which would ya'll go with.

Sorry if this comes off rude because it's not meant to, I just know everyone asks this question and it leads to everyone saying different things about building, money, goals, ect.
buy an IS.. and while all the "guys" are callin you a homo, you go pick up their GF's and wives and show them how much of a homo you really are...

It doesn't make sense to purchase a ST or a SC "for now". You'll spend money on the ST/SC, install, tune, and engine management. Then later you'll have to sell the ST/SC. You're only gonna make about half of your money back on the ST/SC. Why not just save the money instead of buying the ST/SC and another $1000-$2000 and go with twins and a conservative tune. Then you can save the money for a built motor. After the motor is built, go get another tune.
