New Z in Nola
Hey I just bought a used 04 Black 350z over here on the westbank....just thought Id pop my head in here. I had a scion tC with plenty mods, but wanted something a bit more fun . I believe it is a base model as it has no buttons on the steering wheel. I just installed my pioneer z1 that I took out the tC and I will probally be getting tint soon. I have plans to do more, but don't know if Ill have the funds for them anytime soon. I have a few questions for you guys though.....
1) What size bulbs does a 04 350z have (assuming I have a base model..)? Might get some HIDs also soon....
2) Are there any cheap rims that looks decent and have good offset and width? Ive read a lot on this fourm about wheels and it seems if you dont have Volks or Work wheels you get **** on lol .......Id love to get a set but I dont think I can dish out that kind of money soon.
3) In your opinion what should my first serious mod be? My main things I know I want are deff. wheels and suspension (Stance coilovers most likely)....which first?
Thanks guys!

Find an aftermarket HID kit with H7 bulbs.
There are some Rotas that look decent if you dont want to spend too much. Contact our vendors.

Do rims first. Most NA mods you will be very disappointed with anyway. Waste of $ IMO.

+1 on what dave said. i have the JUN HID kit for my base model, works really well. i have alse heard good things about xenondepot.com, friend of mine has em on her car and likes em alot.
as far as rims go, pretty much work and volk are the wheels of choice around here. id suggest trolling around the marketplace for either a good set of used rims or find a good deal with a vendor. best N/A mods for the money though are test pipes and probably plenum spacer.
suspension mods wise, the car is setup really well stock. i and most of the others have the stance coils. great set of coilovers if your car is gonna see some track time, otherwise there are better choices out there for street comfort. between wheels and suspension though you are going to see the biggest performace gain from a good set of coilovers
anyway welcome to the forums, you may see a couple of us on the westbank, we shouldnt be hard to spot

Yea I was thinking of doing the coilover first, but was not sure if it would look dumb with the stock wheels....shouldn't be that bad. I was about to get a silver track model but it got stolen off the lot a day before I went to the dealership lol.....anyhow thanks for all the comments and I deff want to hit up the track, but I am still gettin used to drive a manual..this is my first manual car. I did do some autox in my tC and loved it though....
I saw a blue Z the other day by West Jeff Hospital that was low as ****....I dont think it was Lance's brothers car though....forgot his name sorry...
I got some cosmetics to fix first before I upgrade also...I got it fairly cheap but it came with a few dings and a very noticeable scratch and cracked winshield lol....
