same guy, but wrong story. The maxima guy never paid. And after about 6 months of trying to get the guy to pay forparts or pick up the cr, he did neither. So travis had the car towed. I was around for the whole thing, he got a lot f bad rep for that whole deal.

The motor i have is an HR and i beleive it came out of a altima. Heres a pic of what itll loo like as soon as we ge all the wires tucked back away. We hd a wire issue and had to yank the whole motor out again. Itll still be about 2weeks.

Theres a bunch of vids of other swaps on youtube. We had built a QR (sentra motor) and had a turbo on it, the motor made aroud 600hp, BUT he offered e this for a even trade and i want he reliability. So v6 it is. Fun *** cars to drive too. The z gets to be a weekend car now. Heres a pic of one he just finished, this one made 293whp and ran a 12.85@110mph. Ill have alittle over 300whp and the 100shot.

I've seen receipts from the shop for about 20k worth of paid items. The kids name is / was Bryan. Last time I saw anything posted from him on it, Travis wouldn't take his calls.

Does that motor have fly-by-wire like the Z? If so how did you guys do the wiring to use it? Are you using stock ECU?

Travis is a good guy for the most part, he had a bad past and paid for it badly, he seemed to be working very hard for the past year or two to rebuild it. his issues were almost always related to timelines not being me.

but have fun with the car.

i know travis is a good guy, ive been doing business with him for a few years. He will be doing the Twins on the z. Travis had all the police docs he needed to repo and get rid of the car... so theres two sides to ever story, BUT if "bryan" really had receipts for this project and there was wrong doing fora sum of 20k... dont you think Travis would be in jail or atleast had a hefty law suit to deal with? And yes, for the last 2weeks of the ordeal, travis did stop taking calls from him, he does however have messages on a machine that tell why. When it getsto the point of those mesgs, the cops step in and deal with both parties directly, as they did in this case. So yes, contact was limited in the later days.

I stand corrected on the HR, thats my fault. Its a rev-up.

As for wiring, its kinda his secret. He is able to get the whole cluster to wrok with no codes (regardless of the emobilizer), the only thing he cant get is cc. But im not sure if he reflashes the stock ecu or if he converts a vq ecu. Id say itd have to be the vq ecu.
