Red face Alittle Lucky

Almost lost my Z sat night. Combination of too much speed (i take the turn everyday) and a strong cross wind. Back came around just a tad, got off the gas and the Z said "ok ill stop being a dick". Now the other guy is a different story, lets just say there is one less mach1 in the world. The guy is fine and all, just alittle pride rash. He was trying to catch me. Which he admitted to and then included, "man that car is fast. Whats done to it?"

FYI- we werent racing, i was just crusing that stretch of road like i do a couple times a week. But he was a mustang guy (i say that owning two classics) and thought he was cool.

Thread is prob worthless with out pics, but i didnt have a camera with me.

Mike

It's nice to hear a story of someone learning a lesson & not ******* up their car.

Be careful.

Yeah, I found some stuff from that.... one is wind does play a roll when your driving cars faster than civics and sentras.

Other than that, I need front tires. I hadn’t noticed how bad they got...

The mustang guy is actually dating a cousin of mine and he called me last night. It seems his insurance isn’t going to cover him because the police report sighted "excessive speed". I told him, wind or not the mach1 prob couldnt have taken the turn anyway. But yes im going to keep high speed stuff in one line and limit the turning parts to river road.
