Default GOOD Dealerships

I've seen a lot of threads compiling horror stories concerning certain dealers, but what about the lucky ones among us who have had great experiences with our respective dealers? I for one consider myself very lucky to be working with Bates Nissan on getting my Z, they have been fantastic on answering my questions and concerns, and they're actually knocking the "prep" charge (i.e. the window VIN # etching, Scotchguard, etc.) off! I dropped by there the other day and bugged the sales manager for 45 minutes with a ridiculous amount of questions, and he answered every one of them to the best of his ability, showed my everything he had concerning my Z order, and didn't once seem to get annoyed. (Like *I* would with someone harassing me for 45 minutes about a car...)

Point being, I got lucky with Bates Nissan of Killeen. No "overcharge" crap or B.S. What about the rest of you? Good dealerships deserve recognition.

I had talked to several dealers while I was hunting for my Z. I ended up getting my Black Track Model from Middletown Nissan in Middletown, Connecticut.

I had an excellent experience with Joe Sarusinsky. I had called asking for a Z and within an hour deal was set at MSRP. He answered all my questions and gave me straight forward answers. When I went down within 3 hours to check on my Z, I found it locked away inside with sign saying it has been sold to me and asking no one to touch it! I did not even have to ask him for all this precaution! He had also made sure that front license plate bracket would not be installed and best of all the car had only 13 miles on it! All the paperwork went smoothly. Joe is also very knowledgable about the Z and other sports cars.

In fact, everyone at the dealership was really upbeat and enthusiastic. I got lots of help and hints from a lot of folks that work there.

I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND Middletown Nissan to anyone within 100 miles vicinity looking for a Nissan. I called several nissan dealerships and ended up traveling 100 miles from Boston to Middletown to pick up my Z.

Everything has gone great with Corona Nissan. They offered me a cancelled pre-order for MSRP, and I don't think it was loaded with extra garbage, and then they ordered my car for a Dec. delivery with a possibility of Nov. We'll see though...

Trivia: My great grandfather was gored to death by a bull near Cerritos Nissan, when it used to be a dairy field. I always knew the story, but I just found out the location few weeks ago.

Oakwood Nissan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I know I live in Calgary, Alberta, but I didn't like the dealer I approached here. The guys in Saskatoon are real car nuts and share my enthusiasm!

John Elway Nissan in Denver, Colorado. Very helpful staff, serious Z enthusiasts, and they want to make sure that you have a positive buying & owning experience.
