Bunch of ZROC crew heading up to Chicago tomorrow for the Midwest Regional. Some rain in the forecast but temps in the 70's for the highs! Beats the p1ss out of todays 94! Downtown for the Blues Festival Friday and car show on Saturday. Should have about 10 cars in the caravan - lots of spouses so probably a bit more tame than the ZDayZ caravans, lol.

Hahahaha, good one. You should try and make it out to edgewater one of these Thursdays...Last week was a blast, 15$ for as many 1/4 mile runs as you want.

Thursday Night Lights @ Edgewater every Thursday 7PM-12AM if anyone wants to come.

You guys should come out to Drift Cleveland's drift days; 2nd Friday and last Sunday of every month at Lake County Speedway in Painesville. $20 to drift for 6-8 hours; you'll run out of tires long before you run out of time. It took me three hours including bsing, eating, and watching other people run to go through 4 tires.

Also ebrpca.org hosts monthly AutoX at the Hartville flea market. They haven't posted the times from last Sunday yet (sadness), but it's a blast and for $25 you get 8-10 runs. Come rep the Z crowd, cuz other than me there's just my buddy with his turbo '86..so many Porsches to eat, so little time

CZC have any motorsports activities going on? I don't see any on their calendar.

To be honest, and this is only IMHO, CZC spends a lot more time showing tha driving. But ZROC will be at Nelson Ledges for a Fun Day on Sunday July 24 and we passed along the info to CZC so maybe a couple of them will show. I'll be there for sure. See their web site for info. Supposedly no need to register ahead of time, just show up with a helmet.
On the "show" side ZROC will be at the Arthritis Foundation Auto show in Dublin July 8-9. You local guys should stop by.

 

Anyone going to join me down at the Centerville Raceway this Saturday for a little Time Attack? Its my first time down there, but looks to be a little bigger than an autox course, but without having to play cone jockey.

Anyone been to both Edgewater and 42? I'm not big on drag racing, so I don't really pay attention; I've only been on 42 once.

 

Tell me more about this Z club? Do I really have to mail in an app to join? What am I paying 40 dollars for? How big is this club?

 

This is a family type club. $40 includes one year's subscription Nissan, Infiniti, Datsun Sport magazine. Membership around 40.

So chances are no one will read this while it matters, but worth a shot. So I'm trying to get my tires on this weekend, but I need 5mm spacers to fit them because 285/30/18 PZero Rosso is wider than 285/30/18 Eagle F1 all season and the F1s already rub on my spindles.
