2 more months till warm weather and Z driving

 

Fyi for all of you thinking about going to Zdayz. It has now become an international event with participants and sponsors coming from Canada. Terry from zeetoyz is going down and has agreed to sponsor us. Maybe they will meet up with us on the 17th and we could have one of the biggest Z cruises an Ohio State Trouper has ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. I am going tommorrow to drop the car off and take some pics of the parts to be installed. They told me the head mechanic is already reading through the install instructions. He's excited to do it. Its outside of the norm.

Its at the dealer. They are going to get started on Friday. Maybe done next week. God Speed is up in Novi. I may go there but if there is a place near here I will try them. All I have left to do on the car is a body kit. I think I may go with the one Zless has. No money right now though

 

mike - godspeed is worth it. Dan is great, he can do dyno tuning and all that. its only like 1/2 hr drive, and its the closest reputable dyno shop around here.

 

how much does dan charge ?? im so torn on when i should drive for z days i want to go with a crew so i guess i will plan for going with you guys (zlees and mzack). ill be in summer term at school so i guess 1 more day skipped will be well worth it

 

www.godspeedinc.com I can't remember what Dan charges for tuning, but whatever the price -- it is worth it. I think it's something like $75 an hour though. Dan is a master tuner and will get more power out of a car than most other tuners. For example, he's somehow managed to get my Z about 25 more rwhp compared to other Z's with the same set up.

 

ill head down there in a couple months to get my nitrous tuned and to get some hp #'s on the pulley i made

The price list (club applications) just came out for zdayz 05 car show t-shirt and bbq and it looks pretty good. Derek etx has made it know he would help so any one wanting info contact either Derek or myself and we will be happy to forward the applications. Also anyone staying the weekend should pm Derek with your name and dates cause we can earn a free room if enough people go. That would be about a 270.00 regular price saving for someone!!!! So it pays to have more people go. More later.......................

I would love to go to the kart-kart place but so far in less than a week I have been to the doctors twice and still not feeling all that well.
