I guess the only thing that I enjoy about Suburban as a company is that I get discounts on parts from them from my friend.

My car is already in the dealership, They are replacing the transmission and doing the axel tsb. Im excited to drive on the new transmission, everyone that has it is saying it is so much smoother than the old one.
Boo Shifty. If employee discount is 20%, pads would cost about $240. Time would be less than an hour. Wow, I really need to open a Z shop...

Im not sure when im getting it back.

My friend was also surprised at the price. $250 for the parts. He thinks its high, but he also thinks it probably because of the Brembo brakes.

I dont think 100 dollars is alot to pay for labor for brakes all around. So I am happy with the price he asked. Im sure I could get him to do it for lower, but hes a good guy, I dont mind paying him to do the job.

Yeah it was nice meeting you too Jon!

For those that weren't able to come, you didn't really miss much. Alotta Scubie STI's, alot of riced out cars, but there were a few particulars. Comptech Supercharged S2000 (For those who remember the silver hardtop S2000 that used to go to Redline), and a 525rwhp Toyota MR-2! Insanity! I got some pretty nice pictures in but i'll post them up soon. Gotta work on a couple of them first.

Jon,
Great meeting you too man!

It was a decent showing, it was getting going when we were leaving it seemed. Not the greatest showing, but still very cool.

Some people were asking me where all the Z's were....kind of funny
A couple cool old Stealth and Mitus Twin turbos...too

Good times

Yeah don't forget the Saleen Mustang with drag radials on the FRONT tires! Hilarious!

On a side note, the Z at the dealer already sold! I'm so pissed. 2005 model, stick, only 9,000 miles on her.

Don't laugh too hard. Did he have 'em on the back too? I've actually heard of that beind done for autocrossing, etc. Have to be careful that the DR used doesn't have too soft of a sidewall though. I guess they're cheaper than race tires but it does seem weird.

Nope. He had BFG drag radials on the front tires and normal street tires on the back.

Yeah trust me, i'm not that ignorant where I would have blindly clowned him for having DR's on the front. I did that with my Grand Am (foolishly enough..). But he had literally full out drags on the front and weak *** daily all seasons on the rear.

Yeah it's okay, I went and atleast checked the car out, wasn't too excited. Had the older gen headlights/taillights and the ugly (imo) Enthusiast multiple spoke wheels.

Wasn't what I wanted. Something better will come along i'm sure.

Okay finally got to editing/re-sizing the pictures I took on July 11th at OU!

Jonny boy..you are going to love em, as I'd expect everyone else would too. They came out GREAT! Plus, a lil photoshop help, but nothing too drastic.

If you guys can't tell, i'm obsessed with those GT wheels...omg!

More pics:
Comptech supercharged S2000 (also seen at Redline Motorsports)

Cadillac CTS-V

500rwhp+ Toyota MR-2 Spyder..this thing was NUTS

I love all the pics. These are my top 4. I like the first pic how you got Daytona Jess's car and mine in the same one. The others are just bad a$$!!
Thanks for the pics.

Daytona Jess,
Thanks for the ride, that is the best sounding Z I have ever heard.

Then someone from my office told me that Dick Scott Nissan in Canton had a great service department.

So, I take it there, Not only are they doing my axel ticking TSB, which Suburban refused. But I drove the car with them for .2 seconds and the Master Tech heard the grind and said. Well, thats good enough, Ill order you a new transmission.

So, I owe them a life debt.

If your buying a car or having yours serviced, go to Dick Scott Nissan in Canton Damnit.
They dont mess around.

Yo, I always take my g35 to Dick Scott. Those guys are super nice and have even pointed out some service bulletin stuff from infinity that I had to have done at the dealer. On another note, the new ann arbor infinity is open now and their service department rocks. WAY better than the Novi infinity.

Hope to see all of you at OU some night.
