And I let the celly ring when the top is down. (Esp if it's 'da wife) LOL.

I'm in for Waterford. Hopefully they waive the late fee. See you there.

Is this the July 6th one? I'm potentially interested ...

I definately think we should get a gathering together sometime soon.

Yep. July 6th is 'pretty soon' They waived the fee for registering late (less than 2 weeks prior) - which was nice. Now I just need to get my new pads and rotors installed.

They charge an entry fee of like $2 or $3.

The late fee for OTD has been lifted until July 1st. Get registered and save $50.

So if i'd like to go, it'd only cost me a couple bucks. But if I wanted to run, it's like $150 I think.

Default Thekinn=1, Belle Tire=0

I beat them in small claims court and they paid up. I cashed the check today for the price of the wheels and the filing fee. Case closed.

Now I can start shopping for some new wheels again. This whole situation has turned me off of the Work CR Kai's. I still like them, but they would always remind me of this b.s. I had to put up with.

Thanks for the support. Always take pictures of your high priced items. Before, during, after service (I did, it helped a lot). Never sign for something that you are not satisfied with. Never patronize Belle Tire.

Oh I'm not sure. I only saw it from afar. It's always parked next to the Blue current generation Mustang though in a car port.

Have any of you guys done brakes before? Specifically pads and rotors?

I did mine this weekend and went on my test drive. I notice that the pads are rubbing just a little while driving (without braking). The wheel would still spin when the car was up, but it would rub just a little. I hoped it would go away after the first 1 or 2 uses of the brakes. Maybe I'm being too cautious and should try to drive a little more to see if it works it's way out. I only drove about 1/10th of a mile not above 25mph.

However, I'm guessing this is because I reused my shims and shim covers. or I'm being too cautious. What do you think?

Powerslot - slotted rotors. Project Mu B-force pads. OEM, non-brembo calipers.

I have non-brembo calipers. I put on Powerslot rotors and Hawk Brake pads. Did you reset the piston on the calipers when changing your brakes? I didn't put on the old shims. I left those on the old brakes. The Hawk HPS that I had already had shims on them.

If by 'reset' you mean push the piston back into the caliper to make room for the new pad - yes, I did that. I did a bleed before driving too.
Thanks for the reply. I assume that you did not experience this rubbing afterwards .

No rubbing. That said, something I did while changing each set of pads was to press the brake in to ensure that it would actually brake properly.
