I plan it out?... Join any of the GLLC or http://www.nohiobmwcca.org events.
I'm registered for over 12 full day events through the Mid-west this summer. Not including test and tune nights etc... if you join something I'll go there! I'm not gonna hand it to you on a spoon to watch you spin your car into the grass NBL!

I finished the bedding process on my brakes last night. I installed new SS lines, stoptech rotors and project mu B-force brake pads. I have to say that I am impressed how well the brakes held up yesterday. The brakes were solid even at the end of my second cycle of braking. I will definitly give a better review after I have them at the track to see how well they really work.

I got a flyer in the mail from Tamaroff offering $2,000 or 20% over kbb/nada trade value so I took my 2007 Z in today to talk to them about a 370Z.
After about a half hour the salesman came back to me with $13,000 in trade for my car and $32,900 for a 370 with the sport package. I think the other folks in the showroom could hear my jaw hit the floor. $3,000 below the NADA ROUGH trade value. The two good reasons he gave me were that it needs a new front bumper cover and the tires have 23,000 miles. The third reason he gave me for the low trade value was paint color. "It takes a certain kind of person to drive a [Solar Orange] car."
So much for upgrading. I went from sort-of excited to bummed.

Wow. He completely low-balled you and insulted you at the same time. I think he insulted you twice there.. (since YOU are 'a certain kind of person' driving a solar orange car). Surprised that he didn't kick you in the ***** on the way out.

Lowballing me like that just says to me that they don't want to deal with me. Said the nearest 370 that fit my requirements was in Kentucky like it was a chore for them to get it.
Can you guys recommend some other area dealers? I'm in Ferndale now, but I refuse to go to Suburban after buying my 03 there.

Tamroff has really gone down the tubes in the last few years.
Go to Dick Scott, they seem to be the most poular one in the area.
Sorry to hear you couldn't get what you wanted.
Getting a 370 how you want it is going to take some time as well.
Regardless of what you read they are selling better then EVER before, even 03.
I have some inside info on that :-)

Hey you guys think i should put my Nismo cold air intake back in? i mean i really don't like how loud the the JWT pop charger is. I'm gonna need a new filter for that nismo intake the one i have is all mangled up and dirty. The only thing I'm afraid of is if i put it back in it might suck up water again it sits to low and to close to the wheel area, you guys know if i can relocate the the filter head?
O Yea and does it matter what brand filter i buy can i buy can i buy any other after market filter head?

dont waste your time with intakes man . stock airbox and a kn filter should do wonders . this is speaking from exprience , go check out the exhaust and intake section most people would agree , those that uses intakes are just for look and sounds .
