So I guess you 350z's run ROTA wheels too? I'm considering a set, haven't heard the best things about them. Particularly, they're cheaply made and they're knock-offs.

mike, rotas are GREAT budget wheels, the offsets offered are kind of on the weak side. as far as the "look" they typically look very good, just dont plan on hitting a pothole and driving away, they are cast and bend easily.

My wheels are in the same boat, just a more aggressive offset minded company. i dont plan on doing any track racing anytime soon, so they fit the bill for my setup.

See, I don't want to change my wheels. I like them a lot. But they're a tad on the small size (215/45/18 tires on 18x7 wheels). The contact patch is far too small to handle the power up front, but keeps the car nimble in the handling department. Some guys run 225/40/18 on the stock 18x7 wheels giving you wider patch, but less sidewall.

TireRack has a Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07's on sale for $99 ea. in 225/45/18 which effectively makes my tire larger overall and chunkier on a small 18x7 wheel.

I may try to find a set of stock 18x7.5 Mazda RX8 5 spoke wheels. They fit like a charm and look beautiful on MS3's. If you guys know anyone, lemme know!

And, incase anyone is wondering WHY the heck I post on here (for the new guys), i've met and hung out with Aj and Jonny Boy a few times, back when I was trying to get a Z. It never fit in my personal equation, and I still lust after one. But the MS3 is fitting my needs quite well. Still, I don't burn any bridges just because i'm driving a different car lol. Hope to hang with you guys one day! (Just didn't want anyone scratching their head what i'm even doing here - you can see my "member since" date. I've been wanting a Z since 2003 haha)

Can you do me a favor? I need to know what size that burger opening is... I've got a brand new one but I'm not sure if it will fit your opening on the front. If it does, I'll give it to you. All that I ask in return is a beer or two.

It's 3 and 3/4" wide, by 3 and 1/4 tall.

Question I need your opinion on this car...

I saw this on autotrader last night and I am planning on checking it out on Saturday. It's located in Oxford. What do you think? Is it properly priced?

its my twin lol. For reference, I bought my 08 silverstone base 6spd in July for $23,000 with similar miles. So sounds good to me.

Nice. HR w/ low miles, cloth interior, no Brembos yet it has stereo controls on the steering wheel. Good choice.

The M45 never thrilled me. It's a car that seems to have gotten lost. Targeted at those who buy BMW 5 series, Mercedes E class or the Lexus GS. It has all the power and comfort features but none of the high class respect. I wonder how expensive parts would be since it does not share a platform with a high volume model. Fuel economy is 18mpg and that is always in the most optimal condition. The dealership's price is higher than Edmond's average by $1-2K. Later models had an AWD version which may be worth saving for. Ignore the HP ratings between the 06 vs 08 as the measurement method changed causing a downgrade in advertised power. No change was made. The Z and the M45 are worlds apart. Not sure what you want so I couldn't tell you if this fits your needs. For me, if the car will be used 99% of the time just hauling one person, then I would take the cheaper Z. The almost spiritual feeling I get from my Z where driver, car and road all become one fluid motion just can't be found most other cars. I suspect the M45 won't deliver this feeling despite all the creature comforts. If I drove this, I'm sure I would be dreaming of the Z.

If it's freezing cold: Park together in the rear of the lot and come on in.
If it's nice, I'll prolly hang out before coming in.

That Nismo bumper looks good on the car and I love the blacked out headlights... I was going to send out my headlights to get painted maybe two years ago but never followed through.

Mike - Even though I haven't met you, it already seems like I have lol. So no worries, hope to meet you for real one day haha

Nismo_Titan - I would look for an 07. 23K seems a bit high for a 350Z now. Although the mileage is low, there's no difference between 8k and 30k. Trust me, I bought my 05 with 8K for 22k, and now that it has 20k, it's probably only worth 17k (5k loss) and in the same good conditino as when I bought it. You can do A LOT with 5k

Any way you guys can postpone till next Sat? I'll come for sure? If not it's cool, take pics!

Edmond - The bumper looks baller. The lemans / black combo flows well with your headlights and wheels. Lookin nice bro!

If you can squeeze out a little more you can probably get an 09 370Z with the sport package: http://www.*******.com/370z-sale/131...mmaculate.html
That's the 370z .com if you're curious.

I hear you, the depreciation on the 350z is NOT good. As you mentioned, that $5k could buy a great deal of mods... exhaust, intake, brakes etc.

I think I'll keep looking.

Thanks for the input guys, that's the kind of 2nd opinion I was looking for.

I have one from the trunk of the roadster. (No pins) It appears to be the same size as what should have been on the front. (I hate badges so I have nothing to compare against. )
