Brian - Nah I went back to pay respect to my dad since it's been exactly a year since he passed away. So my mom came out with me and is gonna stay here for this week, you can blame her for bringing the sun over

Mike - That's very touching. I lost my dad last year to leukemia and there are definitely times I wish I could go back to spend more time with my dad or do things differently, or show him more how I appreciated him. With my mom still alive and healthy, I'm trying to do everything for her and with her that I wish I could have done with my dad.

Ugh. The Facia is the easy part of the stillen g3 install. :P The hard part is the goddamn clips on the breather.

I had so much trouble with those that I test started the car and covered it because I have to go out. I don't have anything but a mag light anyway so it's probably a good time to stop.

 

I just hope we don't get a ton of snow/rain before I can get the facia back on tomorrow morning. :P

Sometimes you have to walk away from it and get your mind back. If the clips fail, can a zip tie work?

Finished up the intake this morning. Only one extra clip and two extra screws! :P

I decided I would wait to get a few miles on it before I take the facia back off to fix the aforementioned problem so I can double check the pipes for rubbing at the same time. I might end up cutting a little more of the drivers side duct so that the filters are easier to access too. The instructions are not at all clear about how much material to remove or even which side of the duct to cut. I find that really annoying.

 

Is this still available? (Assuming this is the HD motorsports kit) If so, I'd like to order it.

thanks brian! yea i painted them flat black, in hindsight i would go with a more "satin" black but i love them. all my co workers say it makes the car look like a frog. o well, i lOVE the new setup.
