My bumper is still at the shop so I can't measure it. I would think 30" should be wide enough for the height and 7' should be long enough. ($112) Do you think I need 8' of the 30"? I am hoping to have a piece left over to do part of the lower hood and fenders. How much are you planning for your bumper?

For my bumper I'm going to order a pre-cut kit. I'm gonna order a few feet of 12" wide for practice, and to do my mirrors. Not sure how much more difficult it would be to take bulk material and wrap/trim on a custom bumper. I'd measure fender-to-fender along the stock bumper surface to see if you need 8' or not for the bumper. I'm sure they have a fender and hood kit for the Z, so you could order that kit.

Now I just have to figure out when I can do it. I have a ton of little projects I have going on right now, so I want to make sure I'll have an entire day to spend on the clear bra when I finally pull the trigger.

Just back from Iron Man 2 movie, looks like its got a good opening. We stood about 45 mins in line to get into a theater. It's been a while since I've done that.

hey deepu, sorry I won't be able to stop by today. I'm driving up to Howard to get my tech inspection around noon, and then Sarah wants to go to the mall (assuming my inspection goes smoothly and i didn't break that bleeder valve!). But feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.

just got my lazy butt out of bed. Will target 2pm. Sorry for the late start. Thanks for putting the car up first.

Do you have brake line wrenches? If not, LMK and I'll pick up a set on the way past Harbor Freight.

Just finished the inspection and it went well. Howard even bled my brakes for me and we got some air bubbles out and the valves checked out to be ok

so I'm ready to go for next week!

Thanks Brian, Rob and AJ for stopping by and helping me with the install OR should I say doing the install for me THANKS!

Just got done with my bleeding at 10. Looks like you need more fluid when you change the brake lines. 2 bottles were not enough, I ran out of it with one more bleed valve of the wheel to go. So I used the other blue bottle I had and flushed the last wheel.

No prob Deepu
I will come back again and help, just let me play GT5 when it comes out on your setup
Jeesh man that is money!

Yeah you always need a bit more once you redo it, you lose more then you think replacing, and bleeding the system

Today while its sunny go out and do some driving to make sure you don't have any air in the lines! You will know the feeling TRUST me

There is only one 370 in the pack that going to the track day. My car was fine in the 5 track days I did before changing my pads last year. I am GLAD that I didn't have to see that brake failure

Yeah... that's why I bought the new pads. Some guys are having a lot of trouble with ABS 'Ice mode' on the 370's too. That really kills their stopping distance.

Yeah the 370's brakes I have not had a probem with personally.
Though the next car I am getting has the Akebono Pads as well...

The fluid apparently is a problem as well..
Though how many of us are professional style driving there cars on the track....

Most are 65% of the professionals....
Its still BAD for the Z's image though...
