Yancy,

Good talking with you today. I will be posting pics of the final brake job this weekend. Looking forward to the wheels with the brakes. The secret I will be keeping will be the engine bay. No FI, just cool visuals.

I would like to have a spring party at my house in late March. I think we could have a lot of fun. Maybe do another spring job now that we know how to do it. I will come up with a date soon. Only 90 days til spring time. I can't wait. Salt sucks!!!

This may be a dumb question but do the slots and drilled holes have a direction. I installed mine opposite to Yancy's pic.

Default Slot/Drill Hole direction

I recall there was a posting about BBK, and within the post had a discussion about direction of the slotted rotors. I was not able to search that post, but did find some helpful posts(contain pics) that shows the direction of the slot/drilled holes:

Hope this helps.

i just looked at that picture, it looks like the shift boot is a lighter color than the seats - thats not the case at all, they are the exact same color. sorry if it looks misleading.

Hi I'm new to this forum, haven't figured it all out yet. lol

I noticed everyone in here lives fairly close to me, I live in Southgate, MI. ..... downriver area.

I got a 05 350z roadster touring with 18 in. wheels

Got it in early November,I put it up for the winter now.
It's killing me not to drive it, only have 300 mi. on it.

Start it every couple of weeks. With no miles, you want to make sure everything stays lubricated.

Just finished the rear brakes. I drove it around and it stops a lot faster with all the new parts.

mdacko, are you still looking at a single turbo? What brand?

I am still undecided on turbo or sc. I guess I will wait until zdayz to start planning for next winter.

Default Painting calipers

Worked great. Front calipers are painted. Just waiting for the paint to dry before re-assembly with ceramic pads. I will do the rears tommorrow. I'll take a picture of everything later.

I want to paint my calipers too, I can't decide if I want to go yellow or red.

I heard the G2 caliper paint is the best. What kind of paint
are you using?
