mike how did the painting go? did the paint come with a brush? was it a foam brush or a paint brush?

im scared, i was never good with painting or coloring or anything that required concentration. when i did my calipers silver it involved a can of spray paint.

do you guys think i should sand my calipers down to get rid of the excess silver paint, or just paint over it?

hmm, maybe i should just get them powdercoated?

I have a heater for my garage. You are welcome to paint yours here. It is so easy, just brushes on. Must clean them first.

I think thursday will be a big order day. HEHEHE, just wait!!! My car will be off the road for a couple of weeks even if its warm. Anybody have a plasma cutter?

I am all set for the tires. I guess I get paid a week early so if they come in I am ready. Let Chris know.

mike i cant bring my car over to your garage because when i stored it for the winter i took insurance off

im probably just going to take the calipers all the way off, and paint them in my house. i will let them dry a full day before i put them back on. I will let you know as soon as your wheels get in, Chris said probably the 27th, so I will let you know as soon as they do, and you can set up and appointment with him.

Make sure you clean the **** out of them with brake cleaner first. And when you bleed them put a hose on the bleeder so the fluid dosen't hit the calliper.

My beater kicks ***! the 300zx! I just had to replace the rear callipers cause they were locked up, cost me $230! That's more than I paid for the damn car. We should meet up at the Auto Show, I can't wait.

I'm going to make a guess here - after reviewing your list of mods there can only be one thing that's getting done to your Z to warrant the remover of things. My guess is that you'll be removing the plenum and cold air intake to make room for something else? Am I close?

Yes. Some of the items are going to take two weeks to arrive before Dick Scott can install them.

Zless, I will have the Crawdford Plenum (Red), Strut bar and JWT Pop Charger to sell. I would like to wait for a few weeks after the new install before selling. You already have everything that I would sell though.
