Don't know where Aubrees is. I was over on Carpenter and Washtenaw the other evening, but I've only put a total of 40 miles on the car so far, so it likely wasn't me. I'll post photos soon (man, it just started snowing again and 2 minutes ago it was blue sky!!!)

 

Its in Ypsilanti. Snow? Well that counts me out driving the car tonight. My car doesn't leave the garage most of the time.

Hey, here are a few pics. I'll post more when the weather is warmer. Taking it in for a clear bra today before there is a chance for chips. What a sweet car, I am so happy that I decided on the Z instead of the SLK 320 (was buying used).

 

Nice pics. I think I may wash my car in the garage today and take it for a spin. It is so nice out but cold. Those houses look like the neighborhood behind me off of Whittaker in Ypsi township.

 

All these generic neighborhoods look the same. It is actually in Ann Arbor (but yes, cookie cutter all the way).

Very nice out now. Bright blue skies, but freaking 21 degrees!

 

I just washed my car. Needs wax but that will have to wait. I need some parts for the engine bay. Looks like a trip to home depot for some clips.

guys, we live in the wrong state. i just came back from my vacation in arizona. all i can say is wow!!! temps were mid 70's in the day and low 50's at night. that is my idea of winter. i almost forgot what clouds look like. its my 3rd time going there in a year, but there's something new to see everytime i go. people there are happy and nice. (its probably because of the weather). and lets not forget the latin women...but thats a whole new topic.

surprisingly i only saw half a dozen z's in 1 week and all looked stock. im going to apply for a job in AZ.

It's freaking snowing outside! (well, it is the end of Feb...doh)

Husband came home yesterday to the surprise car. Was really taken off guard that after 8 months of looking I bought a Z instead of the SLK 320 or the Z3 that I had been dithering between. He's a little miffed, but I let him drive it and he was duly impressed. I asked him to drive my other car around over the next few days so it doesn't go too long without being driven and that seemed to put a bit of a smile on his face (hey, he drives a Taurus station wagon, which has got to be the pits).

I think as soon as the weather warms up and I can drop the top, he's going to fall in love with the car and I'll be fighting him for the keys.

Hey guys,

Its been a while since ive posted. Holy crap this damn winter is not giving up, 1 more month and my car will be driveable! April 1st baby and the Zster heads out on the michigan pavement for another season. How is everyone doing in here, ive read the posts, holy crap like 5 of you guys now have TC's, thats awesome, I cant wait to see your guys' cars this season. Hopefully we can have some early meets this year where we can meet up and just stroll, some of the guys at my work told me there is a street, very scenic, very curvy and bumpy, and hilly that runs north of Rochester, I am gonna get the specs on it, hopefully we can all do a saturday afternoon cruise all the Z's, supposed to be a really nice "richy rich" neighborhood and after that maybe drive to a gathering somewhere, dont know...still MARCH! ...nasty winter...anyways, CONGRATS ON ALL THE NEW Z OWNERS!!!...welcome to the forums and to the Z heritage, hopefully this year will be just as warm and awesome as last...take care everyone.!!

For sure!!! This season is going to be insane, Us Z owners should really get togeither this season and crusie around show other cars whats up!!! We really need to hit up woodward, hawthorns man if we can get 5-10 of us that would look CRAZY!!!

 

Sounds like a plan. What's the status of your engine build? Cams? Sleeves? Did you get sponsored by Stoptech? If so, what kind of deal did you get? I think I have decided to stop where I'm at with my car and will probably add my AAM return fuel system, 550 cc injectors, new lsd and new clutch and call it a day and wait for the GTR to be released. Too many guys are having issues with head lift, cooling issues, etc. after building up a high hp engine. Who knows though, becuase I change my mind weekly on this
