Anybody have any good collision repair experiences with dealerships or other wise in Chicago-SW burbs? I have a couple of body panels that need replacing/repair....

Recommendations appreciated.......

Ended up going to Thomas Auto Group(Nissan/Toyota) Body shop, in Joliet, IL....

Tom, the Body Shop Manager there seems to be a decent guy....worked with me on price, and explained what was necessary.....will get back in a couple of weeks on fit and finish of the work.

 

Sorry to hear that your Z was damaged....can't wait to see the pics! Have any pics of the damage??

Well, I picked up my Z last week and after a couple of "shake-down" cruizes I must say that Thomas Nissan's body shop is FANTASTIC......

I was extremely pleased with their customer service through-out this ordeal.

Fit and finish on repaired parts is flawless, They took care of some extras for me along the way(buffed out a key mark on my hood and some minor scratches on the vehicle).....worked with me on price...let me know about all discrepancies along the way.
When I got my Z back it had been not only hand washed(by request...I advised I would wash it, but Tom set me up with a hand-wash), but DETAILED . He really took care of my Z and took care of my care the way I would have(If I could have done it myself).


I am VERY particular about my "Z"... , and I will have to say that the Thomas Auto group body shop EXCEEDED my expectations....they get a "thumbs-up" from me.
