Hey guys im new to the forum. I was planning on buying an 03 touring with orange leather. The car is in mint condition and stock with 50k and warranty for 18.5k. But I have come accross an 03 performance with the track package, the only dif are no orange seats and no bose. There is a link below. Is there a difference in performance between the cars? Both are manual. I am trying to find out if the orange leather seats would fit inside the performance, if so then i would most likely buy it and change the seats to orange leather. Is it possible? I have a 2004 Touring. I found the Bose to be an ok option. It only lasted about a month in my car, before being replaced. So that is up to you. And I have found the leather to be more comfortable. But if you don't plan to keep them, who cares. Either way the performace edition would be a bit lighter, but thats about the only thing that sets them apart.

I wanted a performance edition and now I would get another touring any day.

I have the touring with the orange leather too, and my buddy who actually picked up a track a lil bit before i picked up mine even admits that the touring z is worth it. As far as the bose goes, didnt last too long in my Z either. Go with the touring if your going to be driving it around a lot and want comfort. The performance would probably be better if you have plans on heavily modding your car and tracking it. I would rather have a touring any day of the week, even over the track model. Thats me tho, i love my heated seats.
