I gave up on the caravan thing. Im leaving Friday around 3PM with a few other local Z's since we all have to work till 3 ish.

Push - I will see you guys Friday night (around 10ish). We will have to get a time to leave Sunday and all caravan back. Train of Z's yeahhhhh.

For those in the Thursday caravan, where do you want to meet up. We usually meet at the first rest stop when you enter kentucky on 71/75. Louisville peeps, where do you want us to pick you up?

 

Hey push I think I saw your car out in the parking lot of BW3's on Beachmont this past week. Looking good! I live off of beachmont right near the Bigg's shopping center with BW3's so I could meet you anywhere really. I also need to figure out how to get my friend in Lexington to meet up with us on the way down. Just let me know where would be good for you. And are we meeting at 11:00am?

 

We could just meet at starbucks then hop on 50 to 71 and meet everyone at the rest stop.

Some of you may remember us from previous years. I know push does. We are leaving on Thursday. Since we are leaving out of Cleveland, are there any set meeting times in C-bus, Cincy or northern KY?

Last year, we met at the first rest stop south of the Ohio river in KY. It is easy to find and access. That could be a good spot to meet near Cincy. Let me know when you have the chance. I will be watching this thread for the next couple days.

I just wish I had my Z at the moment :-( She is in the body shop getting some cancer removed. But, she will be ready in time.

 

Hunter, what time you think you could be at the rest stop? I think in years past we got there 10:30-11ish if my memory serves me correctly. I feel ya on the rust, my front fender has some from rock chips. It will be going in after zdayz for a aerosync front end and full front end repaint. My front end looks like someone took a bead blaster to it. lol

 

Uh-oh, my gf was just on fontana village's site and she saw trail riding. She has 3 horses at home so she wants to do a trail ride one day for a little. So those coming with women and you want to score brownie points you are welcome to tag along haha

 

Is anyone leaving Thursday, we are leaving around 6:30 PM. I think we are going to drive for a few hours and get a hotel and drive the rest on Friday morning.

 

Haha. I am specifically leaving the woman at home so I don't have to endure crap like this.

 

Don (MI 35th) is leaving around 7ish thursday from cincy. Honestly it's not that bad of a drive, you will get here around 1-2ish might as well go all the way through!

Also for those of you in the thursday morning caravan, remember walky talkies. We don't use them much because usually we have the windows down, but it can help when people get stuck at red lights, etc.

Maybe 10 minutes. If you want to join our leg of the caravan we can pick you up along the way.

 

Push what are the directions we are using to get there? I am trying to figure out where my friend in Lexington, KY can meet up with the group on the way down.

 

Let me check to make sure this is the route we followed in years past, but I'm pretty sure it is:

I-71 South to,
I-75 South to,
I-275 South to
US-129 South.

I've never had the directions with me, I've always just followed the caravan of people who knew where they were going haha. Maybe Hunter can confirm this is the way we usually take or if we go a different route.

 

I can't particiapte in any planned caravan because I will just leave when I get out of work Wednesday. Of course I'll join in if I encounter anyone along the way.

This will be my first visit to Zdayz and the dragon. I'm not entering the car show or anything, but I like a clean ride when I am with other Zs. Do people wash 'em down there or just screw it? I imagine I will pick up no less than 10,000 bugs on the way down......

 

There are places to wash down, and there is a power wash down near the grocery store.

 

I am back in town, just picked up the Z all tech'd and ready to go!

Unfortunately the front right wheel is curbed like hell and i am embarassed to drive it down. I will try to have it fixed by Zdayz.
