I went with Osiris Standard. Comes with Cipher and the cable to connect to your ECU.

When you purchase from their website you disclose your mods and specify the 5 maps you want. You receive the cable in the mail, download the software from their website, install to laptop. All of this comes with instructions, of course.

Connect to car, run Cipher (clear my damn service engine soon light with a click), and log two 0-60 pulls plus one normal driving around town/highway log. Send the logs to UpRev - they create a e-tune/5 maps based on your log results. They said up to 2 weeks for an e-tune. I got mine in 1 day.

Flash ECU with Osiris... and I'm dancin. Haven't "tested" it yet due to rain. But, my car runs fine and the 5 maps work. I did a quick spin around the block in the rain.

I'll get a chance tomorrow to really test it out and see if my butt-dyno notices any difference. I got too excited and decided against an actual dyno.

Steve, you've got me sold on the tune. It's on my hitlist to do soon.

We have a member from the East Coast rolling in on Saturday the 18th.
How about a lil gathering to say welcome.

The non-foulers seem to be working. No check engine light since I installed them..

alright everybody there are 2 autocrosses this Sunday 9/20.

There is one at the GM assembly plant (CCM event) and another at Belle Isle (SCCA).

SCCA is more competitve and you have to work while the CCM event is less competitive and you don't have to work.

Can we make this the 09 my350z autox show-down? If everybody wants to go I'd say we go to the CCM Event cuz it's more fun and laid back. If not I may just attend the SCCA event and get my butt handed to me by the pro guys.

Cost is $30 for both..

Registration: http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...event_id=10192

Both, but I like the SCCA event better because the course is on concrete at Belle Isle. And I guess Rob is suggesting that we compete against each other so it doesn't matter where you run. But if you participate at SCCA you will spend a good part of the day there.

Johnny
Yeah I agree, that is an AWESOME place.
Had it this summer, it was really so good.

I wouldn't mind going to the autocross
Personally I would rather do the CCM one, they will let us take passengers as well.
What time is it on Sunday?
Can we register there?

Jonny yea that's the one. Haven't been yet but heard it's AWESOME.

Aj, really? Autocross? Can I get first co-drive? If not then I'll just spank you with my own underpowered z. haha j/k j/k

Yeah you can register on site (it's an additional 2 bucks I think), and yes they allow passengers. You prolly have to get there around 9?

The only thing I don't like about CCM is the surface is a bit slick. But if you can dance the car around then you'll be fine.

Lol I see Deepu is signed up for both.........

So is anybody in for sure? Call me if you need anything.

Rob, I will ask Jess today when I get home.

Depending on how many runs they let us take, I have no problem with letting you and Johnny taking it for a "lap" . Deepu you can as well man if you want.

I am curious to see if I can keep up with you guys I really have only autocrossed once and that was in the big ol G.

I am also down for going and getting food at scores after as well.
This sounds like a nice Sunday!

I am almost 100% in. Im not making a garuntee, but I do plan on being there.

Aj - I would love to take the 370 for a lap around the track, and I think we wanted to go to Slows not Scores. There is a BIG BIG BIG difference between the places.

Rob - Slows is a great place to eat, a little expensive but very good. Also the front door is a little deceiving and kinda hard to notice if you dont know what your looking for.

Sounds like CCM wins the vote.

Side note: I am going to get killed out there on sunday, I still dont have new tires and my current ones are even worse after the drag strip.

Johnny,

Yeah Slows is what I was talking about.
Place has AWESOME food...
Jess might not be able to make it she has some stuff to do that morning, but I am hoping to get her there. We will have to see though.

I am still tentative, anyone have any idea the address of this place?
Also to confirm we have to be there at 9AM on a Sunday....just want to make sure.

AJ click on the link you lazy a$$ lol j/k j/k

I would get there sometime between 9:00 - 9:30

It's the GM Assembly plant at the northeast corner of I-75 and I-94. Google map it and you can see the big parking lot. It *looks* like exit 217B but not 100%.

Come on Steve, move your plans or are you worried about getting schooled...I kid I kid...

Rob, you want to caravan there or something.
Jess is still up in the air but I am hoping to make it
I might get my helmet but if I can't Rob can I just borrow yours for my few runs?

I hate using the rentals, its just way too dirty...
