I can think of a few reasons 'why not'..

1. I've been to Waterford Hills twice before. Nothing against it, I'd just like to try a different track.

2. Those 2 trips to Waterford were open track days, I want an actual class. Anybody can mash the gas and turn the wheel, I want to learn some things.

3. There is already interest in this HPDE event, maybe we can rent out Waterford some other time.

4. I already sent my check.

5. It sounds like we get A LOT of track time at Gingerman during this event. Maybe you haven't been to an actual track before - It is quite exhausting. I'm sure we'll get our money's worth out there.

That's all I got for now.. If you aren't interested, that is fine, just don't go. If you want to rent out Waterford - go for it - I'll probably sign up for that too.

Thanks. Same here - I would like to see as many members out at Gingerman as possible..and I felt like your rental post might keep some people on the fence about going to one or the other.

I went to the actual store. The address, phone# are here - www.racing-stuff.com

I went a little overboard on the helmet. Bell M3, SA05 compliant. $592 out the door. They know their stuff there - the helmet fits my head perfectly. Very comfortable and light.

I've heard of people getting helmets that meet the SA or Snell compliance for like $100 - I didn't look into it though. Search around on this site for links - or google away.

If he warms those up, and launches it prety lightly it SHOULD go straight no problem...
I am all about watching that though...
