MOD Day at my house.
Modifications: Cobb sways and springs.
Well everything seems to go really good for Steves car. My review after driving it with the new set up is......... FUWKING AWSOME. The way the car turns, accelerates, and brakes are compltely different. The ride obviously is slighty rougher but definatly not much worse than stock. Also the drop gave the car a awsome stance. Im sure it will look even better. Steves face after returning from lunch was pricless. Cant wait to hear what he thinks about it.
After all this work lately, I really dont know if I will be able to hold off on doing my installs until after the drag strip.

Steve, the car should look good and handle even better. I'll definitely have to check out the stance compared to the Hotchkis.
+1 for an OU meet then cruise down to the BBQ.... that'll be a decent drive if it's downriver.

Yes, I am still glowing from driving around the rest of the day . Like a schoolboy getting blown by a Maxim model, I can't wait to do it again... and I will in like 5 minutes! lol
I think lower and stiffer springs really seem to improve the power and braking. Of course, I have no concrete evidence that it does, but COBB probably does. I just get the sensation of quicker, smoother acceleration because it isn't rocking nearly as much between hard shifts 1st-2nd-3rd... I'm really pleased with the ride. Noticeably tighter and stiffer, but, certainly not uncomfortable.
I do love the stance too. While pumping gas, I swore I grew a foot. I tower over this car like the jolly-green giant now! lol j/k. .. now I can't wait to get my new wheels - they will really set off the look I want for her.
The handling, of course, is t!ts up now. The steering seems to be more sensitive and the car is begging for corners. I was hesitant to push the cornering today. It's still cold, and there were still wet spots out on the road (plus dirt and salt) I didn't want to push TOO much. But the spots where I gave it gas in a turn, bend or a stupid lane change felt great. I was already looking forward to the track, now even more. It's going to be great seeing and feeling what these mods will do for me there. It's really friggin spectacular to go *****-out for 15minutes+ straight . I just hope my hard-on doesn't interfere with my steering.
Thanks again Jonny, AJ, Rob, and AL. Me, my car, and my wallet thank you very much! Happy, safe motoring all.

Billy-I was not sure of his cars power, I know it WAS more then Dils, but with the new setup I was not sure..
Both cars are gorgeous and FAST!!!

Steve - thanks again for letting me take her for a spin and the wallet. lol I am happy you like it.
For the xceedspeed pre-BBQ:
If anyone is interested there is a huge parking lot for Memmorial Park by me that might be more inbetween for everyone, not real sure. I am up for any ideas. It is about 2 min off 94. From there it is about 40min to the meet. Im just giving ideas, or if anyone else can think of somewhere. Doesnt matter to me, OU is still fine with me.
