DETROIT Z (meets and events)
I really want to help with this as I'm indebted to help someone with springs/sways but I'm helping another friend install hardwood floors Saturday morning. I wish it was happening Sunday.
Rhino ramps won't help with the sway bar install.... as Mike said the suspension is still loaded which makes it impossible to get tools at the right angle to loosen the nuts on the endlinks.

Hmmm,
Do we want to just wait for the easy install at the garage?
I am game for wither as I have nada going on during the day.
Its up to you guys
Johnny-I WILL be taking you up on that when I have to take my car back apart

Editted - It won't kill me to wait a little longer. However, the sooner the better! I'm antsy to get the first mod installed. Up the the garage owner. AJ?

Looks like the install is still on for saturday then. I am still working on getting into the shop on sat to use the spring compressor instead of doing it by hand. I should know for sure tomarrow. If this is the case, then we might want to do it at my house as it will be 2.5 hours faster. If we cant use the compressor, then I am still up for AJ's.
from personal experience, doing any spring/shock assembly without air tools is a huge PITA. Even if u do rent the spring compressor from murray's or something, without air tools it's gonna suck lol. Oh well, we'll see what happens I guess.

Thanks John...I think.
Billy you probably have one of the best looking Z's I have ever seen man!
That car is gorgeous, I am EXTREMELY jealous
Can't wait to see it this summer.
Your right it was gorgeous out yesterday...
I am still game for everyone coming over on Sat...
If we can use Johnny's uncles stuff though...we need to utilize that advantage

For anyone in on doing the springs, I was able to get use of a good spring compressor. Should take about 10 min for the springs. If everone is still on we can meet at my house at 10am. Let me know what everyone thinks about it.

I'll bring the car, spring, sways, tools (torque wrench), and I also have the Service Manual suspension assembly diagram with torque specifications..etc.
