Scott, actually I am missing some as well...
WEird they always seem to disappear.

Deepu you don't need an alignemtn man your car is BRAND NEW.
Just buy a helmet and go to the autocross. Let us know which one your thinking. DON'T buy a used helmet

You will do fine its one of the safest ways to "race" your car.
Rob will show you the ropes. I might come out to watch if the thing I am doing that day falls through.

Autocrossing is a VERY safe way to get used to your car and high performance driving! Its the best starter to move into track racing. You will learn all your core skills there. I autocrossed for four years before moving up into track racing and all my instructors have always told me that I excel at the chicanes. A direct correlation to autoX'ing!

And your starting off with a FUN car to autocross with! Big courses are a lot of fun with a Z.

Anyone wanting to jump into our Gingerman run in May should join up!
http://www.greatlakeslotus.com

Our instructors are the tip top! and your racing with other drivers that want to help you excel rather than beating you through a turn... Plus its all high end cars makes ya feel safer than just the random Xceedspeed kid out there for the first time.

This is an event I may be interested in. Depends on funds and if I can get the car prepped in time.

I'm looking into having my tires removed, wheels powdercoated at Exotic Coatings in Romulus and remounted and balanced. I may hit him up for the jobs.

Ah yes, I met him at one of the A2SCC meets in Ann Arbor. The MS6 is a nice ride. It scares my RX8.

I looked at Exotic Coatings' website and was blown away with the options. Now I wonder what translucent black would look like over high quality chrome. I see potential here.

There are threads on this issue in the NISMO section where if you let them know before hand they will be careful enough. Also, there was a case where some guy's wheel was scratched at a chain tire store (forgot which one it was) and the company paid to get the wheel's re-coated to factory finish.
I had the Suburban Nissan in Troy damage my wheels (just doing the rear axle TSB fix), and ended up taking them to small claims court because the company they sent them out to did a **** job re-coating them and fixing the dings.

I also had Firestone damage my wheels while getting new tires. They replaced my wheels.

I've had good luck at Discount tire -- I make sure to let them know that the wheels scratch easily.

Derrick, won't have the new Z in time, but hopefully later on in the summer

Ali, good for you man you gotta post up some pics when you get the wheels on the car man!! Whats the word on the Y-pipe

You really should just sell the SRS and just buy a cat back, get some testpipes and do it all at once...Its just the easiest way to make everything fit up.

This is partly why I bought my sockets from Depot. Not as good but black sockets stick out when mixed with others.

I'll check my bag again. I was using a 10mm on Ali's pop-charger.

Checked my little toolbox found 2 that weren't mine

We have some Waterford Hills track days coming up mid summer too! Thats if you don't mind risking your car on that top back hill That spot always gets me... Cuz I know I can't lift! But you just have to trust the car to swoop down it!

I promise you will enjoy any GLLC event.

Gentlemen, got the link to the photos from AJ and Jess. Figured I'd add a note and say thanks to all. I had a blast working on the cars. Definitely good times (and good cupcakes) w/ a good group of people.

I'll check w/ my calendar (ie fiance) and see if we have anything going the weekend of that autox...definitely interested in trying out the new grocery getter.

Anytime you guys need another bolt breaker, let me know. If I can make it, I will.

Aaron

What offsets are you running and what size tires? You have a +17 or +18 in the rear? If so, you may need to have your fenders rolled or cut to stop the rubbing. Also, need to lower that Z and maybe put some negative camber on the rear wheels. Looks good though.
