A few of us Detroit area guys did a spring install on a member's Z (jeff91ta). Rears were VERY easy -- only jackstands and a floor jack needed.
Fronts need a spring compressor (I think Jeff borrowed one from an auto parts store), but they weren't difficult either. Hardest part was freeing the spring/shock assy from the vehicle after everything was unbolted. Check out the Detroit Z thread and feel free to ask questions -- datonajess, shifty711, and jonnyboy all helped out.

It is easy. I asembled the fronts and put the front and rear on in about 3 hours. They were fairly easy and I had no experience ever installing suspension on a Z. If you were a little closer I would help you out.

^ Yes, try GRD or Sound Performance. Btw, many of the guys on chicagoZ.com help others with these kinds of installs... also, we are havin another "shop night" at Autobarn Nissan in a few weeks.... FREE use of shop tools, lifts, etc!
