Default Is it time to put the car away?

Took a buddy for a spin yesterday. He has been really anxious to go for a spin, so with winter approaching, and having run into him at the gym, we went.

turn onto the highway on ramp...
-> second gear, 25mph, a little throttle..... spin the tires
-> third gear, 45mph, a little throttle...... spin the tires
-> fourth gear, 60mph, about 1/2 throttle.... ooooh spin the tires

-> finally, turn the boost controller off (now running about 11-12psi), get it into 5th gear at about 70 and ease into the throttle.... finally traction and nice little pull up to 140!

I love driving the car, but with upper thirties to low 40's, even with no snow, the car is just too much

I'm telling you Aaron, I'm really happy with the Toyo Proxes 4s. I've had similar weather here and they still hook up so much better than my old Falken 451s. And even in these colder temps, but I'm also not running quite as much power as you either.

I will be investing in some better tires next go around. My khumos are OK, but when conditions aren't near perfect they leave a bit to be desired. I will look into the proxes

The difference between 295s and 305s on a street tire isn't going to make much of a difference. I have a set of DR that I can swap on and at that point, it is an entirely different experience with this car. with the DR, you come to the realization that 1st and 2nd are actually usable

I like your garage

We've got an accumulated 5-6 inches of snow so far. Supposed to be a lot more coming overnight too I guess.
