I might not be able to leave Friday. The forecast shows snow showers and rain this Friday for me. On Saturday, Cottage Grove looks clear.

I drove my car back from chicago in a nearly a blizzard a couple yrs ago... I am sure you will be fine

 

I watched the news last night and they said if it does anything it will happen later friday night. And that saturday should be the better of the two days.

 

Welcome! Buffalo, whooo I think you just might be on opposite side of where the action will be. We'll be heading down on 61 to Winona and then back up 61 to 60 to 52N. I think the starting point in Cottage Grove might just be the closest point for you. If you can make it, I think that Steve myself and a few others might meet up in Brooklyn Center for coffee before we head down. If not, I'm sure there will be plenty of other events to make this summer. Good to meet you on Saturday.

So far, Saturday's been looking clear, and that's good.

 

I have to drive my buddy to plainview near winona to pick up his GSX-R. we were thinking about leaving saturday at 6AM from Duluth if the weather looks promising. One of the reasons i was looking forward to this meet is because i was looking forward to driving with the windows down!

If I so far as see one snowflake warning or a wintery mix forecast im leaving my baby in the garage.

does anyone know what the drive to winona is going to be like? cloudy? partly cloudy? sunny? -it seems that the weather changes every 6 hours so i'll have to make my decision friday during lunch.

what is everyone doing AFTER the winona?

 

Same as earlier - 56 and partly cloudy. I imagine with a temp in the mid to upper 40's for Duluth and the cities there won't be too much snowing, maybe some rain though on Friday and Sunday. Saturday will be perfect driving weather if it hits 60 and is partly cloudy. However, might not be so perfect for bikini girls in Winona!

 

It only takes two hours to get to the cities from Duluth? If I left Saturday morning, I'd have to leave around 5:00am just to give myself some relax time at the target.

 

FYI- I've got a brand new drop in Fram Air Hog Air Filter (Comparable to K&N for those don't know) for a Z if anyone is interested. I'll bring it Saturday morning to the cruise. I bought it and never used it due to getting a pop charger instead. Was $30-$40 new if I recall. It's just been sitting in my garage so who ever wants it can have it for free. First come first get. Let me know. I think the filter size is the same for 03-06 models. Mine is an 04.

 

I'm not to worried about the weather. like u said it changes every 6 hrs. plus if its raining in the cities winona's pretty south of here so we should be fine. I just want my car to clean and shinney when we get down there. so hopefully somebodys got some deatailing stuff with them just in case. my names not on the list but ill be there.

If you use map quest or something it will get you as far as st. michael but my house is in the newer part and not on the map. As you coming in on 241 main road through st. michael you keep going through the down town area. You come to a stop light at 241 and 19. There is an old church on your right hand side. Go through the light on 241 and you will have a school on your left hand side. On your right side you want to turn on the second street after the school its county road 119 or 45th st. After that you will have some wet lands on your left you will go around a bend and take your first left on 41st into the Meadow Pond development. Go to the end of the street and there will be a stop sign take a left and then my house will be on the left hand side. Here is my # 402-730-3237
