Between tonight and Friday night, supposedly 2-4 inches. I'd like to leave Friday. Steve, if I by chance make it down Friday, I'll be able to crash at your place for the night? My friend ditched me, so I'll be making the trip alone.

Ya no problem. I've got plenty of space. You could head down tonight if you wanted.

It crossed my mind. Got class tomorrow morning, so I'd rather not miss classes now with finals coming up in a couple weeks.

I'll try to make it down Friday. If everything goes well and the snow decides to not happen, I'll leave around 5 to arrive in the cities around 8. I'll be sure to not eat so I can take full advantage of the bbq

Well im originally from florida so the whole going to meets and having a picnic is always something i've been down for -kinda grew up around it. plus my bro used to take me on his Z/G meets all the time in orlando and it was rockin. its a great community. probably one of the main reasons i bought the G (and because i've always been into nissans).

But yea i'm still on the fence about going since it is a rather long commute and the weather is questionable. I dont want to get there and then not be able to drive with the windows down, chill outside and check out your rides. i'll probably decide in the afternoon what i'll be doing but the way its looking i'll be looking at leaving around friday after work and staying at my buddies place in st. thomas university if i feel the weather won't be as bad as i originally thought. then we'll procede with going to dinner and hitting up the bars in mnpls. evryone is more than welcome to hit the spots with us or maybe even show us some new spots. would be cool if we all met in mnpls friday night and cruised around since i've only been to mnpls twice.

by the way, what are you guys doing once you get to winona? bbq? chill?

hope to meet all of you if not this weekend -for sure in the next meet.

Silverstone-Z,
are you leaving friday? willing to drive down with us if the times work out? duluth has really bad weather and i wouldnt mind leaving asap lol... they forcasted SNOW!! WTF!?

No matter what, I'm going. This car was meant to be driven, and I've had it out in the worst weather conditions (except for tornadoes and hurricanes).

Hell, I've already seen badass Porsches and Z06's out and about. If everyone makes this meet, it'll be memorable and worth it. At least you can say you made it!

BTW, we had over 14 hours of nonstop rain. It was actually 62º this evening. So what does that tell you? They're wrong about the forecast.

Yeah, snow is forecasted for up here as well. Down in the cities, Saturday looks to be clear, with a temp around 52+. Window-down driving can be done.

If it doesn't start snowing a considerable amount, I'll leave Friday. Was planning to leave around 5:00, which would put me in the cities around 8. What time were you looking to leave? My time is extremely flexible, I just wanted to get there while it was still light out. You up for the bbq at Steve's too?

Such an event gets me all excited. With my luck, I'll forget my camera.

How long of a drive is it from Duluth? Normally I take 53, get onto 33, then get onto I35s. Takes me around 3 hours to get to the cities. Would it be better to meet you somewhere along the line? Or meet up with you in Duluth? It takes about 45 mins for me to get to Duluth.

If you use map quest or something it will get you as far as st. michael but my house is in the newer part and not on the map. As you coming in on 241 main road through st. michael you keep going through the down town area. You come to a stop light at 241 and 19. There is an old church on your right hand side. Go through the light on 241 and you will have a school on your left hand side. On your right side you want to turn on the second street after the school its county road 119 or 45th st. After that you will have some wet lands on your left you will go around a bend and take your first left on 41st into the Meadow Pond development. Go to the end of the street and there will be a stop sign take a left and then my house will be on the left hand side. Here is my # 402-730-3237

It's raining lightly right now in the south 'burbs. If you guys come down early enough, you'll have time to detail the cars at Steve's. There's a slight chance of rain tomorrow, but it's pretty low. It'll be great driving weather for any FI cars.

60% chance of precip in Cottage Grove for Saturday. :-/

So far, no snow. I'm hoping nothing falls.

Wow, check out this radar map.
