Wow, just looked outside! There is actually snow on the ground. Not sure if anyone is jumping on this morning. Just checked the weather for both Winona and TC and it looks like a mixture of rain and snow throughout the day both places with temps in the 40's. I'm thinking the turnout is going to be less than fair. If he temps continue to stay down like they say I have a concern about the roads. Unfortunately I have my summer only tires on so any sort of slush or snow mix might prove to be bad.

I'm just going to through this out there - if we have low turn and the road stay like this what about doing a Z/G breakfast instead of the cruise?

I'm still planning on making my way over to Cottage Grove for those diehards that show up. Maybe if everyone agrees we do a Z/G meet and greet over breakfast instead??

 

Ouch. The predictions are showing continual snow/rain mix throughout the day. I don't want to make the call for anyone but let me know if there are any takers on a possible "meet and greet breakfast" in place of the cruise today. With that said if anyone still wants to do the cruise I'm up for it too. Just know that a lot of you guys are probably still running summer only tires and any snow accumulation might be less than fun and somewhat dangerous. My only positive before was that Winona looked cleat but that has changed a bit.

 

Hey, this is Ben, we'll still make it to Cottage Grove and see how the roads are. Hopefully they're still good. We've got me, Steve, and Nick (Sotomatic) here at the moment, and we'll be feeling things out.

I've got summer tires on as well, so I'm sure if the roads are even a little bit slippery, I'll know.

 

Just checked the radar map again. Snow/Rain throughout the day with high winds and 40's. What do we think about moving this to a Meet and Greet Breakfast after we meet up. Might have to reschedule the cruise. Give me a ring if you need too 763-370-2752. We still meeting up at Caribou?
