To all out there!

I am very curious what the good shops in the Chicagoland area are. In the city? What shop do you use? In the north suburbs? What shop do you use?

This information may be posted in several other postings, but I would really like to compile it right here, for all to use as a reference.

Any and all contact information is more than welcome as well. We can think of this as a directory just for our car!

I can tell you a shop NOT to go to. P&L, their shop is near O'hare. They work on subarus for the most part but they are completely imcompotent. I sent my kaaz there for them to stack the clutch plates to 60% and the ******* guy gives me back my diff with half the clutch plates out!!! On top of that, after I told him that all the clutches need to be inside the diff, he tried to avoid blame by blamming it on Kaaz because they "told him to do it". Dont go there.

 

Its located kind of by chicago, its a great shop tho, would do business with Irshad again hes a great guy.

GRD is an amazing shop out here and well regarded on the local boards.Highly recommended.

Sound Performance is already very well known in the Supra world and have recently set their sights on the 350Z. They are right around the corner from having their first 1000 HP Z ready to go.

Quite a few locals have had problems with P&L. I agree, stay away.
