the 2JZ will be just as expensive, but the block is capable of holding up to 900 hp in stock form. 500hp is like making 300 in a civic, expected.

Those do look good. Where were they powdercoated and how much did it cost for all 4?

Can't go wrong with something recommended by Aaron and carried by Forged.

I got em done at All Pro Powdercoating in St Cloud. It was only $50/wheel including media blasting. You can't beat the price, and they do quality work. I also had to order new rear tires, so I won't be driving the Z till tues or wed next week it sounds like. I really can't wait, I've got the itch bad, =D.

You brought them there with the tires already taken off, correct? How long did it take for them to complete it?

That looks awesome! Maybe I should do that with my wheels.... on the minivan. Bronze on blue would look good, eh?

Dave, tint those windows! You'll be surprised how much it sets a car off.
Yeah, yeah. I know. Too lazy to find a decent place to do it.

I plan on going. Need to crawl under the car and figure out what's going on with that rattle. I think it's the TP or y-pipe and the flanges.

I brought just the wheels with no tires mounted. It took them a week to do all 4.

what made you decide on the ATS over the spec?.... regardless, the ATS is tried and proven to be a good clutch. You will be happy. Just make sure to bleed and bleed and the rebleed the clutch.

One more hiccup, with the stereo. I thought my bouble din would fit perfect without a dash kit but found out otherwise. Have any of you purchased a dash installation kit locally? I'd lke to get it tomorrow at a brick and mortar store so i don't have to wait for delivery. Any ideas around the cities for a non-generic metra dash kit?

I think I have a spare Metra kit laying around. Too bad I couldn't be a bit more local.

I have decent recommendations sometimes, but don't give me too much credit... This is the clutch I have, bought soley off the pricing and recommendation from Sharif. There are a lot of good clutches on the market for our application, the ATS is one of them.

Cory, I was kind hoping you would get the Spec twin disc just to try it out. The price of that clutch is appealing, especially if it holds and has good feel.
