Well the center is already silver but the rest of the rim is chrome.

 

Went to RF today. Only managed to pull off a 14.95@86, but w/e. All my times were right around 14.9. My car is consistent as hell.

Hey, new to the group...working on my 350Z base 2005...love her, not she is taking up time and money. Look forward to some meetups, couldnt make the last one due to work.
Starting to mod up here soon after storing for winter.
Thinkig plenum spacer and headers will go on right away and work from there

hey guys. We had the car show yesterday be it went really well. Will do some things different next time but over all it was a blast. I'm sun burndt and tired. I'll get some pics up later

 

Planning on doing most of the work myself..have access to a three foot hoist whcih is nice...headers look like a daunting task though...may farm that one out

 

don't even waste your time, money, or effort on headers. Even if you got them for free and only had to pay for / do the install, they still wouldn't be worth it.

Unless you boost the car the only things I would do...
Lots of suspension work
-tein or cusco coilovers
-front and rear sways
-camber kits, A-arms, etc
Test pipes on stock exhaust
window tint
wheels/tires

Performance wise, nothing you can bolt on, short of a SC or turbo is going to do anything worthwhile

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. Keep your head up! I was laid off for a few months last summer and things worked out.

 

Holy Cow! Driving the Z will pale in comparison to some of the jets you will be exposed to. Good luck my man! What are you going to do with the Z? Store it while you are gone.

Thanks Ben. The Z will be stored until I'm done with tech school I believe. I'll be back up here this fall I think. I'll take a week or a week and a half of leave to visit family, maybe meet up with you guys, and drive it down to my first assignment.

Of course I'll still be active here and a long road trip will be necessary to meet up with you guys again.

What's up Z fans. I just wanted to introduce myself. I've had a 04 base model for about two years now but I just recently heard about this forum from a couple of guys at the last cars and coffee! My a has seen a few mods but nothing huge yet. I'm looking forward to meeting up with some of you guys at some of the meets.
