Hey - Yes, I DEFINITELY want to make it to them - normally I am home between Christmas to jan 15, then I come back to MN again around APRIL - its the $$ that kills travel these days - but my real name is Michael or Mike if you prefer. LOL I can understand not wanting to call another man exotic hahaha. Well - I have not talked to BEN yet but however I just was on a Naval helicopter detachment to KADENA to do some strike drills. Kadena is nice - where I am stationed is NAVAL AIR FORCE, Atsugi, Japan - just 30 mins from Tokyo by rail. It is a nice area on the main island of Honshu - hit me up on PM if you want.

One more thing...
Guys I really need new tires and have now eliminated the KDW2's and the Exclaim UHP's. Didnt like the KDW2's due to the fact I'm hearing about the serious road noise it produces and I'm not going back to the Exclaims.. Need Some dire input. Has to have both very good dry/wet traction HELP!!!!!!

Car's running fine... just getting a bit boring. I think I may sell it for a Subaru or something. I don't like stuffing girls into a 2-door.

I used to buy mine at napa (in newport) as well, but lately they have been increasing pricing. I am going to get a preferred customer account online and buy it that way from now on. Other than that, I don't really know of dealer with good pricing

I have the KDW2's on the rears of one set of my wheels. i think they grip well. I don't know about the claims of being loud. I ran Khumo MX's on the same wheels and the Khumos are much louder.

The tires I have tried:

Khumo MX -> loud. Decent dry traction. HORRIBLE in wet or cold - will not buy again

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta -> VERY good price point (but prices seem to have rose dramatically), Decent traction in wet and dry. Would buy again depending on price

KDW2 -> decent price point, better traction in dry than the previous two I ran, but not by much, and don't seem to be horrible in the wet. I would buy again

A tire I am considering is the new Khumo XS. Maybe look into that and see what the reviews say. I wouldn't shy from the kdw's due to noise. The Z will make any tire sound loud

From what I read on the Kumhos XS they are a far superior dry traction tire but forget about getting them wet, they have a mind of their own i guess

Maybe I'll give the KDW2's a chance, or what Ben said maybe the Pole Position RE050A

LMFAO!!! Ben I found your review on those tires on Tire Rack lol

wow did some price checkin on those Pole Positions and damn $1,210.05 just for the tires alone....

Anybody work at a tire dealership that can give me a deal?? lol

For the KDW2's $985.12

I thought the BFG's were loud but not as loud as the Bridgestones. Now that I have the super loud exhaust, I don't care about road noise anymore.

Car show was cool. I'm uploading pics and will share in a little bit.
