It depends what your plan is with the car. My understanding is a harness bar is manly for looks and really has no benefits in a crash, besides holding the straps and looking cool.

While a roll bar does, and most tracks(drag) will kick you out if you run under 11.3 with out a 4point roll bar. But those rules are constantly changing.

So a harness bar looks cool and holds the straps where they should be, But offers no extra safety.

The roll bar will cost more and most likely you will have to take the seats and custom Fab the bar to fit snugly .(none of the cussco crap a real bar with real dimensions) AUTOPOWER INDUSTRIES make some sweet cages.
all ready built (4-6 weeks wait)

I'd get a harness bar if you're just autoxing and you're seriously fast.

I'm booked this Saturday, so that means I'll be at home hanging out. Sunday might be a good day to work on the van if I'm not out cruising in the Z.

lol at "Injoying the little things." That's what it's all about.

Doug, you got really lucky. He probably didn't see you and wanted to scare you into a chase or something. If he didn't see you do it, then he can't pull you over.

Yeah I was looking at the autopower 4pt race roll bars, I will probably get ones of those since its only $125 more than a harness bar and it adds safety.

Jealous of you driving your car.

Mine is sitting at home, different springs on the front than the back, with my 17s on the front, 19s on the rear, and parts torn off all over the place

I think I'm going to take the Z to work on Friday. We'll see. I might take the day off, too.

I was reading in the paper today that it could be the first time that we dont get any snow in the month of March dating back when weather was recorded 1890s. Also read that it could just happen that we might hit 70 degrees next thurs!!!!!!! Hellz yea!!

Yeah, Tara was telling me about the temps for next week. Have you guys seen the water levels around here? Wow! Crazy!

Doug, PM your phone number to me. We need to figure out how we're going to do this window motor thing. If we're buying from O'Reilly's around here, then I want to have my motor ready to exchange. I also need to buy a pulley for the van.

Does it mean I've been gone too long if it took me 4 tries to remember my username?

Is there a mini meet at hooters tonight? Is April 24 the meet date? We should do something earlier with the awesome weather and I'm sure Aaron would appreciate it before he's swamped. Look forward to seeing you guys again this spring/summer.
