well, season is officially over. Car is tucked nicely into my building, covered, and plugged in.

Been playing with the evo a bit.

-New front lip -> lip was cracked when I bought it.
-relocating the battery in the trunk. just need to find a rivet nut tool to set the mount point
- new gentex homelink/compass/temp/autodim mirror
- putting in my defi gauges left over from my Z
- thinking of a new set of IC piping and prepping for a retune on e85 and getting a pump gas tune - need to get a couple things for this
- getting the evo X wheels refinished in satin black

Aaron you got the evo x? Or the evo IX? I know that the 6spds in the nine were pretty bad. Anyone who puts a decent amount of power on them swaps for the 5 speed. I guess they put the 6 spd in the same case as the 5spd so they made everything smaller, therefore weaker to fit the extra gear.

I have an 06 evo IX MR in graphite grey..... no worries with the 6 spd. previous owner swapped to a built 5 speed from shep trans. which is cool, but very recently shep started offering built 6 spds. I don't have the coin to build a 6 spd.... the receipt on the 5 speed is north of 4 grand and was put in, in march of this yr

The car I bought is capable of 500+ at high boost - has a dyno run at 515 @ Map. it runs at about 28 psi on an FP red making north of 400 whp on E85. Car is pretty intense!

Holy chit man. Thats sweet. Must be a higher stage 5spd. I remember on the dsm's it was about a grand to rebuild from shep. Like I said, those evos are like the perfect car for building, you can make them very fast for very cheap. Lol you can just hand me over your z when you get bored .. Ill even trade you mine.. Lol ;-)

for my evo:
ETS Inter cooler piping
FIC 1680cc High Z injectors
Grimmspeed BCS
Defi Gauge setup with console gauge pod AND glove box gauge pod
JayRacing PT342 fuel pump -> flows more than walboro 255
SpoolinUp COP setup (coil on plug)
Speed Density setup -> GM AIT sensor and Omni 4 bar MAP sensor

But the best mod will be on 11/30 -> DB tune for E85 (30 psi ) and regular 92 pump gas (25 psi)

For my Z:
got a couple new CF replica strosek lips from Shine. Car runs good, and setup as I want it. Really not much more I can do to it. I think at some point I might get Cobra Misano seats

I know whats marked up and what's reasonably priced but sometimes i do wish i still had there discount..
