I like doing that route. Bunker to Round lake, through the Riverdale Mall and then take Crossstown back home.

I was wondering if it is a good idea to do a Spring install during winter when the car is stored?. No chance to drive for it to settle but I guess it should not hurt.

[QUOTE=Zivman;8729976]
I dont' know what setup the sauce is refering to with decent coilovers costing 500-800 bucks. I would be hesitant buying good coilovers used. Springs would be OK, but not something with dampers included/QUOTE]

It is not a particular set but I've seen almost new coilovers going for 7-800 bucks that are in perfect shape on here often times pretty nice ones too not just random no name ebay coils but it is a rare sight they usually get snatched up pretty fast.

A guy claimed he could not get his Z serviced at Nissan dealerships because of a drop.
(Claims car was too low to get under). How low can you go to avoid this?
I have 19s on my car which I think raised the car a bit from where it was with 17s. Dropping 1.2 should not get too low I guess. Still leaning towards Bilstein PSS10 as
option 1 and D-Spec shock/spring combo as number 2.

1.2 is going to be too low. stick to an inch or less.

Really it comes to the lazy employees. with some ramps you can get on just about any hoist.

All that said, who gets their Z serviced at the dealer?

Thanks. The Coil should be helpful in setting the desired drop.

Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC's can be had for around $800, and are awesome. For the price, they're really good quality. They definitely made my Z handle better than the factory nismo shocks, and are capable of lowering the car almost 2 inches.
