i tried re-routing my bov to atmosphere on my wrx and it was quite a bit louder but idled a little funny so i put it back. i removed the roof racks which was a complete pain in the *** because they were bolted in from the inside. which meant i had to take out the two visors, two dome lights, center visor, a pillars, b pillars, c pillars, 5 seat belt brackets, 4 oh sh*t bars, and the headliner. i also took the rattle-can to my stock wheels and painted them black.

when you hear the general farmer BS on the news, it has absolutely NO impact on me and my farm. We sell everything fresh market. No bushel pricing, no hedging, no contracts.

You don't want to be a farmer. Too many highs and lows. We had a bad yr this yr. literally made no money. Living on last yrs savings. Bought the evo with the cash from my honda fit that I sold.

As far as the Z, what more can I do? I don't care to have any more power. Really the only thing to do is to convert it to a track car... gut it and roll cage it. If next yr is anything like this yr, the evo and Z will be up for sale...... depressing to think about, but that is the reality

evo's tune is completed

428 hp @ 28 psi on E85 -> ran out of fuel pump
340 hp @ 25 psi on 93.

this is @ DB. I am happy with the numbers, but disappointed he ran out of fuel pump. I just put in a new pump that 'should' have flown a bit more than he got out of it. I was hoping he could pull 30 psi out of it, but it is what it is

FP Red turbo
ETS 3" FMIC with ETS short route IC piping
MAP eliminator DP
Buscher down pipe back exhaust
SpoolinUP COP
FIC 1680cc HighZ injectors
Speed density
stock cams

The car made 315-330 on E85 @ 25 psi when I brought it in. He made a couple pulls at the beggining... in all fairness, the AIT sensor was rewired to the IC piping vs reading off the stock maf location. This definitely didn't help the original tune. So if the car now makes 100 more hp on E85 than that, that's pretty good

yeah...I'll agree w/ that. 4-5 months. Seems like everyone comes up with "plans". This way people can kind of use it as a SAVE THE DATE type thing.

Yes I agree with you on the z... Theres not really much more to do with it. Im just sayin it takes a ton of time and money to say that you are "done with a car" .. Thats a pretty big feat that im sure most people will never get to with their car. Im sorry to hear about the tough times. My business actually lost about a hundred thousand last year. But things are starting to turn around again now and I hope it does the same for you. It seems like you work very hard.. I dont think anyone even saw your car this year..

God damn I hate my job, why does the boss have to call me today at 8pm to inform me that I'm going to Stuart Ia for a week (next week) cause they cant seem to hire anyone who can do their damn job!!!!! I'm basically going down there to light a fire under their asses and to start getting **** done around there. I dont have a problem going to different warehouses but a weeks notice would be nice rather than a days notice.

Sorry had to vent, but not only that it's going to be cold as hell down there next week.. Dammit...

I need a beer

times are tough. only thing to do is look forward to next yr.

I don't even think I put a 1000 miles on my car this yr. 5 tanks of gas @ about 120 miles to the tank.... so maybe 600 miles or so. kind of disappointing really. I did go to the nissan meet later in the yr. Better than nothing.

Anybody know of a good shop that can put in my 4.08's? I asked a local shop and they said it'd cost me around $800. idk if thats reasonable, but it seems a little steep for me. and im not even sure if they have that much experience in 350z's. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I am looking for oem shock assembly to dismantle for parts. Shocks do not have to be in good condition. If you have 05+ I will need both front and rear. If 03/04, only the fronts.
Thanks
