Yeah, no cruse sucked hard going to Milwakee and that was a short drive... reminds me of my brake pedel hold down for alignments that I stole when I had my civic hatch w/o cruse.

Sweet my buddy just sold his 06 evo was a fun car. He had a AMS intercooler, ingen intercooler piping and intake, Tanabe racing turbo back exhaust, different turbo header, BOV, and a few other goodies. He had it tuned at DB in rogers and think he ended up with close 300 AWH. It was a sweet car. How does it compare to your Z?
I paid around 20 for mine, with a few more miles on it(44k) than his and with more extras than he had. mine makes more power too (over 500 on DB's in shootout mode)
anyways, the evo is better than the Z as a driver's car. more fun and faster to 80 or so. You can drive it in all conditions and not worry about anything other than the paint finish. It has a back seat and OK sized trunk, so it makes it more practical in using it as a normal car.
I still love my Z, but if push comes to shove in making a decision on which cars is more enjoyable to drive, I'd have to say the evo.

I've been reading up tho on that guy that was able to get cruise control on his base Z (for the newbs on here, you cannot take components from another Z to get cruise control on another model that has it... Well you can but it will cost ya over a grand to do, so not worth it.) on some aftermarket cruise control that he and his mechanic were able to do but decided it's not worth it... Even the cruise out to Zdayz wasnt to bad granted we stopped in St. Louis and spent the night, but I did a Iron man cruise .straight back

Drove to and from Dallas last December while 35 was covered going 30 from Mn to Kansas that was a 15 hour drive turned in to 23 hours couldn't see **** half the time behind semis swerving probably some of the scariest **** ever. I was getting delirious the last few hours like half asleep it was bad news.

don't know if it was my ems or not... what I think it was, was my rear pumpkin swap. my RPMs don't likely fall in line with what the computer is expecting them to be in 6th gear anymore. I just used that as an excuse to get a nardi wheel and detachable hub.

what a **** @ss day. weather is crappy so I went to the gym. felt strong.. stronger than I have been feeling. today is bench day.
Throw on 320. do an easy 6
Throw on 330. do an easy 5; go down for the 6th rep and feel something pull/tear in my shoulder. no pain, but I couldn't push and now it feels very stiff. f^ck.
and relatively speaking 330 isn't that much. It is on the lower end of what I work out at. if I was at 380-400, I might understand getting hurt. Just hoping it is a little strained and not really torn.
edit.
on a positive note. My dad comes home tonight. getting his last infusion right now. all is good.
also, filled the evo up. E85 is 3.159. paid 30 bucks to fill it up with gov't subsidized race fuel.... and get this. it got a whopping 14.5 mpg.

built for bench... my best is 485 @ 222 lbs (only a gym lift, not in a competition). Mid winter, I am usually working out in the 375-400 lb range for ~ 5 reps. I hurt my back a little over a yr ago, so I couldn't really squat for some time. finally got back into doing squats and deads this winter. hard to bench a lot when you don't do squats..
I am about 225-230 right now. just came off a pretty decent weight loss (let myself get much too fat the last few yrs), so the lifts are hurting a bit... not to mention I am back working again, which always takes it toll
