LOL, my 73 opel GT has less miles than any of our Z's,were you referring to that one?

Plus P-diddy, MN is a 2 horse town, how the hell many times do I have to remind you youngsters of this!?!?! Not only with winter, but recall, I do, at present work DT, so get to put up w/ all the goodness that goes along with that.

The Z is no longer welcome where I work, personal restrictions of course, but still...no more rear ending, parking to close...etc

That is funny on more levels than you know!

A "beater" is truly a 2nd vehicle, reliable, decent on the eyes, modest performance...nobody wants to drive anything that makes you look/feel like a fukbag....I refuse to drive a $500 camry/civic just to have a 2nd car, it should be somewhat BA.
I have had 2 cars since I was 15, not much will change that now....if/when I take the pharmaceutical job, I will be trying to Ball like Aaron w/ his 2 slick rides....this next car will be a small side project to get me by for a season.

Damn, I hate it when multiquotes don't work on this site.

Get a beater for $1k, save the rest for mods on the Z.

so today at work i was raising the derrick up on my drilling rig in a wooded area and up in the trees was a squirrel nest. well when the derrick got up 35ft in the air it knocked the nest down and it rained baby squirrels on the deck of my rig and they all made horrible chirping noises before they all died. Am i going to hell?

I think it depends on the car. I had a Geo Metro for a winter beater. It was awesome. I think I paid $1500 for it.
