I'm not sure if they are fake or not, they are grey market and made overseas but regardless the quality is good and they are incredibly light so I am not really concerned about it.

All you experienced track guys.....recommendations for sticky tires????????? (aka best bang for the $buck$)

Will be using them on the track for Powercruise ...mainly for the 1/4 mile to work on my 60ft times

I'll be using stock 18's off a 2011 G sedan. Luckily they come w/ the new Akebonos so they clear and are relatively light!

Sizes are 225/50 and 245/45....

 

nt555s are pretty good for the price I ran them for the road course and they held up pretty well.

 

was thinking some nt555s for conti dw's for $50 more.

Nitto NT05s are awesome too.... But for longer runs like 3-4th lap I was loosing confidence in them in the corners at Brainerd, did not like being really hot. But they're a little more spendy than the 555s

I have the DW conti's on my evo. they are decent, but are a street tire.
