Yeah, that was a good race. There's some pretty aggressive drivers. What I don't understand is why I never see a Z racing. A few years back, I remember a couple of 350Z's racing in the Grand Am series, but that's it.

Next weekend we are cruising/grilling/drinking/getting down on some fresh *** bishes.

 

Well going down to Red Wing for the day and eventually see the fireworks at night. They usually have a good showing of fireworks there on the river.

 

I'm going to have to start a thread so we can get some interest going. We don't even have to drive out of town. Just meet someplace and decide to drive around. I'm sure there's plenty to see.

 

Look forward to one day reuniting with you guys. Could be 2012, could be 2016. Hard to say. Didn't even get to see Dave last time I stopped by. Boooo...

Speed is the only reason I have cable, alwasy have the DVR on record...I was supposed to be at Road America for the Conti/Grand am races, but meh, had to work...lol, a few hours ya know...

BTW, dave there is NO Z running bc KONI swapped out with Continental and the rules changed...there was supposed to be a 370 @ daytona his year, but the car showed up not in line w new specs....good guys tho....their KONI 350 is still for sale btw....believe me, I know, I have already htought about it....
also, looked ta that 66 GALAXIE, may pull the trigger on it...I MAY have a lot of time on my hands after court, boooo!!
But new project, YA!

As for the Galaxie, I want to see pics! Before I bought the Z33, I was actually in the market for an old school muscle car. Still keep my eye open every now and then, but it's only a pipe dream since I don't have a garage big enough for all the toys.

I'm tired of internet thugs thinking everyone else has an ugly GF or wife.

 

NOt sure if you guys are intersted but Saturday night the G crew is meeting up for Sushi at like 9.

Then Sunday we're having a meet at like 10 and then cruising to the MN sport compact meet together at noon.

 

For those that don't know Dale aka Nismo 558 sold his Car last week after Brainerd and will be getting a New Kawi ZX-6R sometime this week. For all of us that have had a bike in the past you all know that nothing can replace the feeling you get when riding a bike. He said maybe further down the line he might pick up a Z again but for now he wants to get back into riding again.

I am working this weekend or would roll out, I am off next weekend though, for you blues livers, a real f'n treat, buddy guy is playi g lakefront jazz fest for $10 un****ingbelieveable, last time I saw him was $55 at the zoo and he is one of the best, and loudest concerts I have ever seen, way louder than the 2x I saw Pantera even......I am partial though bc I am a guitar player, but it will be an amazing Saturday jazz/blues fest for sure!
