hey all.... had a two hr window between the regular work day and irrigating, so I decided to take the Z out. It has litterally been 4-5 weeks since it has left the garage.... needless to say I have been busy.
It was under a 1/4 tank so off to the station to fill up. I have officially burned 11.2 gallons in my Z this yr -> driven 180 miles (~16 mpg. Not bad)
Anyways I am getting more used to driving the evo and I now feel like I have a better comparison of the two cars...
the evo is like jacky chan. lightning quick, precise, just point and shoot
The Z is like george forman... big and powerful. You will hit the gas and it will be like a huge hay-maker that knocks you on your ***.
The Z is so docile around town, but say you are cruising on the highway at 60, drop into 4th and mash the gas and it just PULLS. was only running spring pressure last night (11.7 peak ) and it took me by surprise
another big difference is the Z is drive by wire and it is a big difference for me between that and a standard cable driven throttlebody. The Z needs to be floored for it to really go.

A guy from Winnipeg Canada that buys corn from us has a watermelon farm in TX. I asked them how it is doing with the lack of rain.... no worries, bumper crop -> irrigation. I think the media is hyping it a bit

*sigh* need new brake pads badly... I was hoping that I could wait till next year when I have the money for a full BBK. Anybody have some front spare pads I could use?? Otherwise I'm finding some cheap ones to put on.
